Saint Agur is defiantly one of my favourites, I love to have it with a nice side wedge of Wensleydale And Cranberry, The sweet really complements the salty and sharpe undertones of the Saint Agur imo
Totally agree with you I discovered this cheese three months ago and keep buying it, now given the fact I live in Switzerland that is a huge compliment for this cheese from me as there are so many great cheeses around me… thanks for the video ❤
Just found your site. St Agur is simply my favorite. That of course is always a dangerous statement. Like Elena Duffin, Costello Blue is also one of my favorites.
Both so good. It can be tough to choose but from my point of view, I can perhaps say a cheese is my favourite at the moment. I love blue cheeses but sometime just fancy something else. St Agur is great allrounder 👍🏻
I hope you can find some Stilton. We have hundreds of not thousands of cheeses. Some other possibly easier to find cheeses might be Red Leicester, Double Gloucester, Wensleydale and Yarg.
@@RufusEatsCheese I live down in SE spain on costa Blanca. As it happened I went into large hypermarket on thursday morning and the fresh cheese counter had a round of it. They have not had it for several years now. I had to relieve them of a large portion of it. :-) Now diminishing rapidly in my fridge.
Saw some earlier today out shopping, I've never tried any. Sounds like I shouldn't have passed it by, it sounds like the kind of cheese I'd like to have on its own or with one of those kind of sweeter, crumbly brown wheat biscuits. Mushroom flavour sounds very good. Have you ever tried a cheese called Harrogate Blue? It's outstanding in my opinion. Oh, and your cheese, pickle and mustard on toast combo was great - tried it with a good cheddar and some Old Amsterdam.
Thanks, Walter! It’s definitely worth a taste 😋 Harrogate Blue is one I need to look out for. We have a few great cheese shops around so I’ll add it to the list. Old Amsterdam is lovely - might have to revisit my cheese on toast with some of that, too.
My favorite way to have it is in a tomato sandwich or salad, with ripe summer tomato and a bit of salt and pepper. The mix of creamy and funky character goes really well with the sweet freshness of tomato.
Someone told me about St.Agur Blue about 4 years ago. It's amazing. It tastes even better than your favorite Blue Cheese. Yes, it does taste like Blue....but, it's not just the creamier texture but the taste is noticeably unique unto itself. It's been long enoygh....time for me to get some more SOON.
Thank you for your informative video, it's so creamy that I thought it was triple cream! Saint-Agur is my absolute favorite followed by Cambozola 😋. I enjoy them with crackers, sliced apples and a glass of wine. Unfortunately Saint-Agur is very hard to find where I live. Costco once had it for a few weeks and I purchased six packages which I coveted and only shared with close friends whom I knew would appreciate it 😅.
St agur is one of my favourite too. I love Rochfort, but this one is great. Stilton is great too! But we have a bluechees in Sweden called Boltjärn blå. It us a fabourite, but very expenssive. Review that one. Boltjärns blå! If you are a fan of blue chees, you wont be dissipointed.
More popular than Stilton in the UK! More popular than Roquefort in France! What do YOU think of St Agur?
It's brilliant. My favourite blue cheese. Simply superb
*WUT???? are the HeaLth BeneFits??????*
Bro where have you been? learned so much from you.
I tasted it for the first time today and you are correct it is lovely. Bravo

One of my favorites, I would recommend eating it with some bread though
Just sat down to a bit of St Augur and a glass of chilled rye.. Thank you, Rufus, for the brilliant guided tasting!

It’s one of my favourite blue cheeses. Loved Castello blue is well🤤
Both so good - I'm not sure I could choose one 🤔
Probably my favorite blue. Thanks for review, I agree whole heartedly 😇
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Lovely on a crusty buttered roll 😋
Just tried this one and wow , so impressed and my new favorite

I totally agree with all your notes .Truly lucked out found it tucked away in all the other blue in a plain cellophane it won me over first taste
Absolutely! Such a good cheese in so many ways 😋
I love St Agur. If Stilton is the king of cheeses this is the Emperor. Have you tried Blacksticks Blue? That's an absolute killer as well.
I have, a few times, but I've not reviewed it... 🤔 I'm just about to film a few more blue cheese vids, I'll add the Blacksticks Blue to the list.
Nowt wrong wi Blacksticks Blue.
My favourite blue cheese St. Agur. It tastes better than Gorgonzola in my opinion.
Roquefort is also delicious.
St Agur is a fine cheese, for sure. Do you like / have you tried Stilton?
@@RufusEatsCheese
No Sir , i haven't, but i will try. Stilton looks like a great cheese. I only know cheddar cheese from England.
I hope you can find some Stilton. We have hundreds of not thousands of cheeses. Some other possibly easier to find cheeses might be Red Leicester, Double Gloucester, Wensleydale and Yarg.
Love this cheese. Find it hard to get where I live. Have it brought over by a friend when he visits.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder! I hope you get to enjoy some soon. Can I ask where you live?

That’s wonderful news 😊 Spain has some fantastic cheeses but they’re mostly quite different. Enjoy, and hope they have some next time.
@@RufusEatsCheese I still buy strong cheddar here in local supermarket for day to day use.
Very nice 👍🏻
Awesome video dude another amazing cheese I need to try. Keep up the good work
Thank you, Bartie! It’s such a good cheese! What’s your next video?
@@RufusEatsCheese I have another disney reaction video. I'm loving doing reaction videos at the moment along with the shorts
They do look fun! I watched Raya And The Last Dragon 🐉 yesterday by the way. It was great!

Just had a little Saint Agur snack, then wondered what was on the Internet about it. It's soo good!
That’s a delicious sounding snack 😋 Glad you found your way here 🧀

Nothing wrong with keeping precious cheese away from those who won’t appreciate it 😂 Hope you find some again soon.
St Agur goes great on gingerbread!
Say what?? That sounds awesome! Perhaps I’ll do an episode where I try suggestions.

It's incredible on top of a steak.
I bet! I usually choose a blue cheese sauce if I have a steak out somewhere but added St Agur to a home made burger and it was wonderful.
I’m eating it right now on ritz crackers
I wish I was 😢 😋
st agur is the best cheese i have ever eaten
Nice! It is excellent, and consistently so.
i bought one and i dont know if its bad since on the side its greenish a lil but it still tastes good lmao. @rufuseatscheese
