Jennifer. The lectures on contract law are excellent. Thanks for posting them. My own passion is the common law and its importance for people, but even an understanding of the legal sandpit offers plenty of scope for loopholes. My suspicion is that, if done well, many people could be freed from burdens where they feel they are in a valid contract.
Good morning, I have found your videos to be very interesting. You explain things very well - thank you. I was wondering if by any chance there was 1 or 2 Contractual Law books you could recommend, please? Thank you

How do you handle a situation were the defendat has sick grandmother in a distant place who need agent attention, he then asks the plaintiff who has a car to help take him there; of which he does. The defendant then pays the plaintiff the money he used of fuel and subsequently promises to buy new tires for the plaintiff. Is the latter promise enforceable?
FIDIC National Members should arrange Trg.Workshops with site visits at affordable local currency fee for Engineers in that nation. Only then ;FIDIC norms will become popular
Anthony Cortes - I may sound crazy now, but If I had a notice on my door " Offer to Treat " which involved the acceptance of Junk mail by me for a said fee. My consideration being " time and labour " to view the junkmail, consider the offer on the leaflet and then disposal of the Leaflet. Would their action of posting the junk mail with the offer to treat notice clearly shown on the door, constitute acceptance of the contract ? in turn, making them liable to pay the said fee ?
