These are great thoughts. I’m going to use a notes page in the back of my EC planner to start brainstorming goals for 2025 😃
I’ve found that unless I designate a regularly scheduled time to review my notes, my brain doesn’t let go of them-obviously, my brain thinks, “Great, another list.” But adding a time to review that notebook or page lets me let go of it. It streamlines it, which is what I’m striving for 😁
Yes! It is so important to revisit what you write down in order to actually let it go. For my goals notebook I know I will sit down in December and start to look at everything, but for current goals I definitely have weekly and monthly check-ins which are very helpful.
I started writing some notes down, But not in a separate notebook. I have a lot of notes sections in my plum planner so I designated a couple of pages for that. I'm excited to start planning 2025!
yes! If you already have space somewhere, you can definitely create a collection for goal ideas. I like to have the notebook because I also do a lot of reflection and journaling around goals, and a lot of my prep work ends up here as well, because we all know how wordy I can be 🤣

And I am actually working on an updated video about that which I hope to have up next week, as well as a video tomorrow about how to use the Home Planner from Passionate Penny Pincher to help create a home management system that works for you.
As for my legacy goal, it is something that I talked about in my 2023 goals, as well as my 2024 goals. It isn't completely done (I set more big picture type goals, and then have quarterly projects to work towards the life I love). How do you organize what you write in your notebook?
First I start with just a brainstorm list, those are the ideas that I am mainly thinking of right now. But, then I do move to two page "category" spreads based on the categories I may want to work on. Things like financial, home management, homeschooling, personal. Sometimes I have a lot of categories and then through my prep work I end up reducing them to a few that I will focus on in the coming year.
