- I moved to Singapore back in June of 2023, and it has left a lasting impression on me. I have always thought that Singapore was a really small, boring, strict and hot country that I would prefer not to pay a visit to. But being here today, have changed my perspectives in so many ways.
Singapore's is such a beautiful, safe, and awesome country to live in. Moving to this country might not be such a bad idea after all.
Welcome to SG. Starting out alone in another country is always daunting. Don't be afraid to open up and being friends with people you meet. Start with your coworkers. Easier and safest bet than total strangers you meet outside.
Only 2 setbacks:
High rental
Cars are damn expensive but public transport is world class

Thise CCTVs are not to monitor your every movement but to record incase of accident happens or terrorist stuff happening etc. Our Sg government are busy enough then spending day to day watching people on CCTVs :)

There’s always pros and cons in any country. I’ve had an opportunity to travel around the world when I was working in an airline company for about 9 years.
When it comes to an advancement, I can truly say that Singapore is 20 years ahead of Malaysia. But when it comes to laying off, Malaysia is the best place.
did you come all the way to Jurong Point? Is really far. Anw theres 24hr NTUC supermarket if you need something.

Hey! Yes I am Malaysian!! There's pro's and con's to every country. But Singapore is definitely pretty cool and clean. I miss malaysian food though :( that's unbeatable

Nobody is actively 'monitoring' anyone on the Police CCTV... There are nearly 100K of them... The numbers will rise to 200K in the future... How many personnel will be required to actively monitored all the camera ??
The cameras enable, after a crime or incident has occured, the police to quickly identify, trace and track down the suspects involved with the crime or incident... Which includes traffic accidents... The police got better things to do than to hunt anyone down for minor issues like littering, jaywalking, etc.
So... Have no fear of the CCTV Cameras... Unless you are out doing something illegal or committing a crime...
We still prefer to buy car, just that we cannot afford

Interesting video but too many praises. Like only speak of the good things. It’s good to include objective criticisms like “They are doing good but they could do better” in your video or it’ll just end up like 99 percent of tourists videos regarding Singapore.
Some may even call it propaganda for the powers that be.
Hey! I have only been in Singapore for less than a year. So far, it has been a pleasant experience for myself. I think one have to live in a place for a really long time to get a real insight on the bad sides too 😂.
