Whats your weird habit? There was a time in my life when I thought no one would love me, or want me. I though no one would want to be with the girl in the wheelchair. Thats so sad, and not true. If they really like you, they will love you for YOU. Disability, just wont be a factor. xx
I thought no one would love me as I am disabled, but in the end, my partner just took it in his stride. As I have become more ill and more wheelchair dependant, he’s been by my side through it all and is so caring. It’s the complete opposite of what I expected when I was younger. There’s love out there for everyone ❤️
awwww thank you for sharing. Its nice to know i felt the same too, but its just not true. There are caring people out there who will love you for who you are. :)
My disabilities got worse after I got married (and got older) and so my man was TRAPPED WITH NO ESCAPE! lol jk he takes it all in stride. It's not easy but we both work together
Omg he is so adorable, I love his perspective on meeting/being with someone in a chair, like so what if you have wheels your still awesome, your still you. I wish there were more people like him out there xx
I knew it was obvious you had a very strong supportive husband , but after meeting him, he’s amazing!! He’s not only very helpful, he’s cute and he’s extremely funny!! And I for one know, how important laughter is !! So happy you were fortunate to find the one!!!
When you love a woman who uses a wheelchair, being a "gentleman" takes on a new meaning. You still open doors for instance, but you also carry a bike pump in the back of the car. You learn how to move the rear axle on a new wheelchair to adjust weight distribution, so the love of your life doesn't flip backwards too easily and you can disassemble both front casters, clean out that long hair build up and reassemble in under ten minutes. Romance and closeness with a "wheel woman" also includes holding her hand (pulling) as we walk and being able to be her knight in shining armor when helping her overcome some of the obstacles that life throws at her. I miss My wheel woman who passed away from cancer a few years ago. I miss her every day!
You guys are such a lovely couple! My wife supports me being partially in a chair, despite just recently gotten my own chair. This video just shows what I'd show my wife before dating, if it existed about 4years ago xD
This is great to see. I am 19 and have never had a girlfriend which although it doesn't really bother me there is a part of me that would like to find someone if anything its more societal pressure that gets me down about not having a girlfriend people saying things like "your 19 you should have a girlfriend by now" because its not the norm to not, When I do see a girl that I like Im to nervors to talk to her because one I haven't got any experience and two I think really stupid thoughts like "Why would any body find me attractive with the way I walk or the way my leg looks" This video, however, gives me hope and Sean seems like a top bloke! really well done and thank you so much!
awww Im glad the video helped. You must do what is right for you. Don't feel pressured. Try and build your confidence by talking as much as you can to new people. the more you do it the easier it gets. There is someone for everyone, xxx
This is so delightful...of course he's won the heart of one of the most interesting, sweet, and beautiful ladies on YT...I'm sure you two will provide inspiration to others!
You guys are so sweet together! I do think a lot of people worry about dating with a disability or illness. I've only just started using a wheelchair, but have been ill a long time before I met my partner, so even though we've been together years, it has got progressively worse and it is there in the back of my mind, occasionally I worry about all the things I can't do. But, I try to think 'what if it was the other way round?' - If your partner got sick or became disabled, you would still love them just as much and want to help in any way you could.
Toonie Hub ... Hi Gem , I love Sean's attitude towards disabled people , I would like to find someone like him , I am ALSO disabled , I was born with with Spina Bifida / Hydrocephalus I am also a wheelchair user I live in Northolt Middlesex with a live in carer from miss Shane Luke LondonXX
My fiancé always leaves the lids off jars or just places the lids back on bottles and doesn’t screw them on! It’s so annoying and I’m constantly reminding him 😂 loved this video! You’re such a lovely couple
HOLY DAMN! okay before i continue i gotta say this.. i am wearing headphones and i expected this cheerful sims sounding music, and half of a sudden the sounds of chopping in my ears, it scared the hell out of me
You guys are too funny! My weird habit is that I hardly ever fill up the Brita! Yep, I'm that person that pours the water until it's just above the filter. My husband wakes up before me and won't have water for his morning smoothie. I want a 5 gallon water cooler, but we don't have a car, and that's not something you wanna lug on the bus!
Hahahah thats hilarious. One of shaun's pet hates (apart from the lids) is that i don't fill the Brita up when I've emptied it into my glass!!! "why do you just fill it up?" But its all about spoon saving ;)
Erm..to keep flying insects & creepy-crawlies out? Everybody's different. I'm untidy but cleanly. :) Would I mind if someone left the lids off? I'd at least try not to...lol. More important things in life..
@@Wheelsnoheels it wasn't weird for your mum for a man older that you be your boyfriend? at 19 you were a child. Would you let your daughter do the same?
@@ZairaBandy You're not a child at 19, you're an adult in every sense of the word. My mum was 19 when she met by dad who was 30 at the time. It's not uncommon and nor is it weird unless people like you make it weird.
I'v been single since May and for many years i'v wondered what it's like going on a date with a woman in a wheelchair and could i take it further if i liked her ? I'm not disabled but only have five and a half toes...
