I can't fully agree with Galen for a few reasons. For one, Democrats are generally sympathetic to Palestinians and Biden must win *Democrats,* not the country as a whole. Furthermore, the concern I have is that progressives will refuse to mobilize voters on Biden's behalf at least in part because of the war. The power of organizers (especially in swing states) to maximize turnout should not be underestimated. And I'm not sure if Galen has analyzed data on the influence that organizers have on election turnout. Finally, swing states like Michigan and Pennsylvania have a lot of college towns. A few thousand young people (or even old people) deciding not to vote because of the Israel war could help decide the election. Finally, I wonder if the Gaza War is further alienating young people from the Democratic Party in ways that are hard for polls to measure. The Israel War is one of many issues on which older Americans dominate policymaking despite opposition from younger people....
Student protesting on campus is an American thing thats been happening for many decades. The right to protest is vital to freedom of speech and letting the world know what our college students are wanting. They are a huge part of our future

Without listening, the answer is yes. I'm a 58 year old lifelong independent swing-voter from Michigan. Because of the upending of Roe v Wade, I am decided on voting Democrat at every level of government. If there happens to be a Democrat candidate who doesn't have the integrity I want in order to win my vote, then I will either not vote or vote for a 3rd party if their candidate is a decent human. I refuse, for the second election in a row, to vote for any Republican at any level. Well, except for my township clerk who I know personally. Trump ruined the GOP for me. My FAVORITE congressman of all time is running as a Republican, Justin Amash, but I’m so much against the Republican Party at this point that I struggle with whether or not I'll vote for him. That explains my mind-set regarding elections. Google podcasts doesn't exist anymore lmao. The bigger issue is that UA-cam is an app that many of us already use, whereas we don't listen to podcasts that much, so the ability to listen on UA-cam allows us to watch a lot quicker

If it wasn't for Trumpism and women being in danger of losing their freedom to private reproductive healthcare, I would NOT vote for Biden over Israel's WAR CRIMES and our complicity in war crimes. Shame on us! But in light of women's rights, I MUST vote for Biden, sorry to say. Truly sorry to say. He has not earned my vote, he has it by default. If women's rights were NOT at risk, would I then vote for Trump? No way. There is no way on this earth that I would vote for Trump. Google podcasts doesn't exist anymore lmao. The bigger issue is that UA-cam is an app that many of us already use, whereas we don't listen to podcasts that much, so the ability to listen on UA-cam allows us to watch a lot quicker
