Watching him back up it makes me wonder how he managed to get that far in there to begin with. I noticed him slipping on a root; does the silverado not have a real locking hub? (I am old Ford guy)
You're so trusting getting behind these vehicles to rig them up or guide them while the person who got it stuck is behind the wheel haha. Old men and kids can't always be trusted!!
I recommend that you don't place yourself between a potentially sliding truck and a tree. It looked sketchy shortly after you unstuck him from the tree when he was backing up.
Thanks, we could have done it with just the jeep or just the four wheeler, but with the info provided without photos we brought out the four wheeler just in case. Worked out pretty well I think. Kept from doing any further damage and customers were happy.
Nice job Matt. Looked like the driver was not very easy on the pedal when you told him nice and easy. Probably had it in 4 low giving it more power then needed. Stay safe out there Matt.
💪💪💪💪 every time you told him slow the wheels would spin. I shouted SLOW as if I was there😂😂😂
🤣
I am going to put up an off-road recovery post soon thank y’all so much for giving me the inspiration to go for it
Hey Matt !!! Nicely done !! Think those guys owe you twice what you charged them as that wasn't as ""EASY"" as they thought it would be !! 🤔🙄👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
You have a great helper. I enjoy hearing her giggle.

Just a standard 2wd open diff

That reverse job was about like some of the boat ramp videos.

I did that once years ago I thought I could make it but come to find out it was too narrow and I have to cut the tree down
By the time they realized they could not fit it was too late, the 2wd did not help
Why do I think if you had backed the truck out it would have taken about 1/4 of the time🤔
I think backing it out took longer then then the whole job 🤣
Nice work

2wd and it’s hard to tell we were on a decent decline
Some people can't drive forward, that one sure as hell can't backup.
