@@hilarywesthoff You would think they have never seen sand before! Funny thing is he parked there before we started to back up! I mentioned that he should move, he did not but he watched me close the whole time!
Oh.. another tip about the wind..n how waves broke close etc... in future.. just change time of yr u visit... it's all about the weather.. storms in the south that make the waves even 100's of miles on the fl coast.. definitely not during hurricane season... even if no hurricane is coming...
It was funny because when we checked the site out he wasn't there yet! He pulled up and parked as I was getting ready to back up! I asked him if he could move and he didn't, so he watched the whole time worried!
It's not as bad as it looks! The trailer is actually very predictable once you get used to it! The sand here made this challenging because every time I moved the RV the tires kept tracking in the first set of ruts!
Thats a great idea! In this case we had to miss the palm on the other side so we only had one position the camper could be in this site! Thats why we didn't unhook because if it didn't work we would have had to go to a different site!

@@PavingNewPaths I am not surprised. When I found your channel long ago I just felt like y’all were hometown friends. I’m sure many feel that way. So happy for y’all.
Crescent Beach is a short drive north on A1A, beautiful beaches you can drive on, great restaurants. Anastasia state park has kayak rentals and a great beach too.

Thanks for watching! We decided that time was to valuable and didn't want to miss out on time with our family! We sold everything to do this and love it!
Wire nuts are a no no for automotive wiring (RV included). They can undo from vibrations as your drive. Use either crimp connectors like the closed end Crimp connectors that were there originally or wago connectors as others mentioned. The crimp connectors a very cheap and can be crimped with any wire cutter being carefull not to actually cut through but a good crimp tool should already be in your tool box for the RV. At least I my opinion! Wagos would need to be secured somehow to prevent them knocking against the roof as you drive and are way more expensive! BTW loved the vid (another great UA-cam recommendation).
Thanks for watching the video! The final product is crimped connections! We couldn't stand the flickering any longer! What you saw in the video was all I had in my truck to make the repair that day!
Club Grand design....we already replaced 5 in our 2020 that's gone disco. I decided on low voltage WAGO style connectors. Beverly Beach Camptown is awesome been there a few times with friends. I don't recall the pressure being that low our last visit, though never saw over 45psi there, yet your solution is exactly what we do.
So far just the bathroom lights have done it but everyone we talk to says its only a matter of time before they all start doing it! Beverly beach was cool but not what we paid for a week cool! We think maybe 2-3 days is all you need there to enjoy it! Took us a week to get the salt and sand off the camper!
@@PavingNewPaths We used it as a base for a week, not a far drive up to St. Augustine nor down to Daytona Beach. While pricey they not much more than any other Atlantic Oceanfront/access campgrounds we have stayed at. They are all on the 100+ a night now.
We did it because we wanted to park on the beach! But we had never been to the Atlantic side so we didn't realize that its always rough and not much of a beach for kids! we explored Daytona while we were there!
