I love this game so much 😭 I've always been fascinated about ancient Egyptian Culture and history as a child. This game took me to a lost world I've always wanted to live in. Just amazing.

It's interesting they picked late Greek Egypt rather than earlier. You really get a multicultural experience the way they did it.
What's more interesting is that the OP picked Comic sans as a font for the video.
It's a really straightforward choice from creative viewpoint. In the greeko-egypt era there is 3000+ years of Egyptian legacy with the buildings and culture. In addition, the footprint of Alexander the Great and the mysteries about him and the pharaohs.
The thing is it would be a lot harder to make a game too much earlier as most of the history is lost. So it’d be very difficult to make something accurate to how it would’ve been. Not much is known about early Egyptian history as most of that knowledge is lost.
@@huguesdepayen1 well, they made the last 3 games already set in ancient times though (with Valhalla in early medieval) giving them the freedom of the story itself and godlike abilities to the player

This game is a masterpiece.
I was just going to make this comment. Absolutely love Origins, Odyssey was okay, but it just didn't have the same atmospheric feeling. Origins gave you moments to stop and look. Odyssey was too preoccupied with keeping the action rolling at all times.

man, no one should ever complain about spending 60 bucks on a game when they realize what goes into them....they dont even COVER the process of modeling and creating a world like this. They are talking about the history and the research involved. The actual creation of this game imo how it looks and how detailed it is alone is the most impressive part! It is literally a feat of engineering and the makers are extremely talented. Not taking away from the important topics covered i just know from dabbling in 3d for about 2 years how insane this stuff really is

Jan Holey definitely. This game set a new bar for the series. Odyssey was such a disappointing game in comparison.

Played odyssey first. I thought Origins was lesser than Odyssey. Turns out. Well, Origins is so mysterious i was captivated by each side mission & each step into the desert. Daym ubisoft. Choosing AC as my first ps4 game is the best decision ive ever made

This has been the one game that I keep going back to. I just love the playthrough so much. And come on it's Egypt, who doesn't love Egypt.
This and AC 2 are my favorite ones :) I like odyssey but there's something in traveling through ancient Egypt... dunno I find myself just exploring for hours and hours admiring the artwork and the hieroglyphs
That's why I like Assassins Creed games.They try to recreate image of history.Its much more difficult than making fantasy games about future

the last time i was so immersed in an AC game set in history was black flag. feels so good to have that same exploration and immersiveness in the towns, citys and vast landscapes.

I don't know if these are different studios but, the motion of the fighting; and general movement, on top of, the visuals. look so much better; than the newest Assassin's Creed trailers, I've seen!?" (imo) But, damn could you please remove the life bars and the kill digits it just ruins the immersiveness of the game on a massive scale. It should be more like a movie that you operate; control and become part of. (Becoming the character) in an amazing movie is what got me into this franchise, and stuff like this always seems like a no-brainer to me and everyone I've ever spoken to about what they would like to see;)

I used the predator bow to assassinate a fleeing target on a chariot while I was on a roof like three blocks away. It was so epic scrambling to climb to the roof for a shot and then using the arrow to chase him down

The best assassins creed , its a history lesson, you will never experience egypt like this. The pyramid or luxor, valley of the Kings, its all there.
The 4K upscaling makes this game almost photorealistic. It is incredible the way the tones change especially when going into and coming out of a cave or house. Craziness.

level system made diss game so mutch deeper then it was. some will hate but diss add a lot more deppt inside a good game. and btw diss game world is insane huge and it take almost no game space how did the mannage that ? why did the not use the same game engine on watchdogs 2 ? bc watchdogs 2 feels terrible optimezed and orignal on ultra settings runs so fine

You're better off downloading a free engine like Unity and teaching yourself to use it. Make a bunch of game mods once you're comfortable with whatever engine you're using. And VERY importantly, have the discipline to not just start something, but to FINISH it. And then do that for several projects. Complete several full fledged mods using engines that you've taught yourself to use, even if that means you had to look up tips and tricks for using those engines on UA-cam. Devs wanna see that you have the passion and dedication to not only learn new things, but most importantly that you have the DEDICATION to finish a project you've started. You can do it man.

Games awesome . I should have been optimized for more performance . If im right we should have got like approximatly 15 extra frames if they had did so.
This is not a making of but a glorified commercial for the game. Instead of explaining HOW they did anything, all they do is gush about all the features and what makes the game so great.

AnvilNext 2.0. The same as used for many other Generation #8 Ubisoft games, starting with AC Unity. AC Valhalla also uses it.
