I think the first time jimmy was just legitimately terrified, I dont think he talked over him the first time because jimmy is a bad guy, I think jimmy is actually a human being who feels fear, but I'm guessing Dave told him that its better to let dave take the lead to keep the animals calm

This is the most relaxed Dave Salmoni has appeared on the show! Jimmy, this is a lot more enjoyable to watch than the constant interruptions by you or celebrities that visibly stress Salmoni and/or the animals.

Rattle snakes can only strike about half their body length. For example, a 6’ snake can strike about 3’. No rattle snake is much longer than 6’. Therefore, as long as you stay at least 5’ away, you’re safe.
Also, they’re not pursuit predators. Just leave them alone, and they’ll leave you alone.:)

Emiliano Zapata, I had that experience! Once when my grandma and I were out for a walk, we saw a snake trail across the dirt road. We decided to determine which way it was going, and when we got too close, it gave it big old rattle! I took off then remembered Grandma. I went back for her, but there was no need. The snake wasn’t interested in us. It just didn’t want to be bothered.:)

I’m glad they actually brought up the Australian fires in this one. It only makes sense with the kind of animals he brings on that he brings up awareness for the terrible loss of life our planet is currently facing. Even he can’t let his nervousness around animals get in the way of this one.

I live in an area with coyotes, so I got a collie to scare them away from my house. But 1 time, a fox came. And when she scared it, instead of running away, it surrendered to her by smiling and doing back flips. :)

Usually I don’t mind these animals being brought on the show but the rattle snake seemed distressed... Or “rattled” if you will. :/ I think it was too much for him.
Unfortunately it looked like it, I understand the need to educate people about these animals, but maybe get a snake that's used to being around people.

@@cobraglatiator I saw that to. Its unfortunate people hate snakes, not everyone sure, but alot of people. Snakes are actually useful to keep certain rodents or wildlife down, plus I find them to be cool and quite beautiful.

Dave Salmoni is the most calm and trained animal expert on late night show. He always follows safety and keeps the animals in 100% control. I've seen others losing control sometimes
