Thank you so much for sharing this Lauren. My condition sounds very similar to yours. I have been doing keto strictly for 1 month and have felt at such peace. Recently as I’ve educated myself about metabolic health I have looked back on my metabolic panels while intake for hospitalization for mental health. All three times my glucose was extremely high and my potassium low. This is not at all what my bloodwork looks like when not in mania/psychosis. I believe and am claiming full healing with this as well. I am now wearing a CGM as well and monitoring how my body responds to veggies and whole fat yogart when added. I do believe that keeping my blood sugar as stable and healthfully low as possible through diet, stress management, exercise and sleep is so important for my future wellness. I look forward to working on titrating off of some of my medication as my stability duration increases.
I just truly feel peaceful inside instead of high and low. Thank you so much for sharing your story so candidly. Oh how can I understand so many of your experiences too well. I am so blessed to have heard this message and continue to educate myself on metabolic health and the brain!

How are you doing? Does diet still help you? What were you issues?

We all have to face the fact that eating is a radical interaction with the environment. It’s about anything but “I eat what I want to eat.”

Comment here if you manage, your schizophrenia with the Keto genic diet, instead of the standart tradition treatment with medication.

Love Laurens story. Important information and give hope to so many. With all respect...the interviewer needs to talk less/let the guest talk more.
