Thought the exact same thing but for ToCA Race Driver 3 here back in the day - specifically, on PS2. Still race it occasionally via a resurrected server for some retro-online and 2×PS2 LAN setup for some R&R behind force feedback wheels in front of CRT screens for a ~period experience. Even in that modest ~simulation and with the force feedback turned up to high, one really gets a sense of the weight of the V6 engine in the back and lack of weight over the front - gotta acclimate to throttle lift-off, settling the car, turn-in, (trail) braking, throttle-on, etc. and specially while cresting -> a unique handling hatch.
Rare as hens teeth the V6 Clio’s. Stupid money too. I’ve had loads of the clio 172/182 and there nuts fast too. Never been in the V6 one though looks bad ass.

The V6 Clío was available at the time I bought my Golf 3.2 V6 R32, I much preferred the R32 and chose it over the Clío. Never regretted it, Interior way better, build quality way better, looks, reliability and practically way better also.
why would it be hot, when the engines in front of you all the heat has to pass the cabin when you're going forwards, when it's in back the heat is behind the cabin and moving away from it, there is and insulated cover taken off there, also scarily this is 20 years old now

These little gems were just bonkers! The acceleration was mindboggling. Very few are left for very obvious reasons.
My friend Lee Perry used to have a Le Car from the 80’s that had the engine in the back and went like a bat out of hell!
