Yes. You have to think of conjunctions like a blending of energies. Whatever your midheaven ruler is, it has been blended with Venus, so those two energies will share an impact on your 10th house. Bear in mind, if the midheaven ruler is with a slower moving planet than Venus (anything other than Mercury or the Moon in this case), the slower moving planet will literally "outweigh" the Venus. Venus will still have an impact, but it will be channeled through the other planet. I hope that makes sense :_

My midheaven is in cancer so it's ruled by the moon which is in Taurus conjunct Venus, so Venus would be the more influential planet correct? Quick couple questions if you're willing. My north node is also in Taurus conjunct the moon and widely conjunct Venus. Would having the north node conjunct the moon/mc ruler also give it influence on the 10th house similar to north node being In the tenth? Second since Venus is my ascendant ruler and it's conjunct the midheaven ruler, does that connect the first and tenth house in a way that's similar to having the 1st house ruler in the tenth even though the conjuction takes place in the 8th.
