Although I originally found Coin Bureau years ago for their cryptocurrency reporting, it has become quite obvious to me that Guy and his amazing team are equally adept at delivering real global news. I find much more value in the news that I get from this channel than any mainstream media, so just want to tip my hat to them for doing such a fine job at delivering real informative news!
Thank you for doing the job of the #media. These reports make global citizens knowledgeable and knowledge is essential to a functioning democracy or republic. Kudos🎉
BRICS wants to build a new currency. It is also worth noting that gold has historically been used as a store of value and a means of exchange, and some countries still hold significant amounts of gold in their reserves. However, it is unclear how a new currency backed by gold would function in the current global financial system and whether it would gain widespread acceptance. Ultimately, any decision to create a new currency would be subiect to numerous economic, political, and logistical considerations.
In all our endeavors in our financial life… the government and banks are not to be trusted anymore because of the ongoing collapsing of banks…as a man of God that saw this vision so i got the insight to educate the world about BRICS the new monetary system…to know more join free lecture.
Mr. Guy. Would be an honor to meet in Dubai. As you are the most thorough crypto guy, no doubt! #1 source! Can't wait for Dirham tether review when time is right..
Hi Guy, being in Dubai for a week. Sending best wishes and all the success for the Coin Bureau Team. I lived in the 90s 10 years here, and now I get lost when driving, so much has changed in 30 years.
Thanks for this great video. I wonder how much would the power of the BRICS actually grow if their economies are based on Commodity production, rather than innovation, sophisticated goods production and sophisticated services, like the western world is still dominating by far. An eventual cyclic world recession would help put things in perspective. Peace!
Absolutely great reporting. Thanks for this brilliant and comprehensive update on the BRICS. Obviously you have a great team and Guy knows how to deliver the goods.
The BRICS countries are making significant strides in creating an alternative financial system that could challenge the US dollar's dominance. How do you think these developments will impact the global economy in the coming years? 🌍💰
Great cover as always! As a Brazilian, I would say that the crypto adoption is mostly because culturally, Brazilians dream of getting rich fast. Gambling is a big problem in Brazil. Also, the ones who understand the technology, are buying bitcoin to protect their wealth from this government. Brazil is not free as you might think and everyone is afraid of having its assets confiscated. Most Brazilians over 40 don’t even know that such thing as the BRICS exist. And the ones who know about, don’t really see a future in it. Personally, I think it might become a big thing and that is a disaster because it’s basically a clubhouse for dictators.
of course, you as a Bolsonaro supporter, know that we brazilian has been buying BTC a lot during the genocidal former president, who is also globally known as a jewelry thief.
@@bennett9072 India is not indeed. I was obviously generalizing. Brazil wants to include Iran and Venezuela, probably Cuba into this mess. Just having the 02 biggest players in it, China and Russia, says it all.
1987-1989 To avoid dependence on the IMF - Ceausescu (Romania) wanted to make the Romanian Foreign Trade Bank a second World Bank together with the Chinese, Arabs and Iranians, a bank that would compete with the IMF and the World Bank
There are indications that on the night of December 14/15, 1989, an Il-18 plane took off from the presidential flotilla in Otopeni, which carried out a special transport, destined for Tehran. And that the plane would have had gold bars on board weighing 24 t. Indeed, the plane appears in the air log files as having returned empty from Iran on January 4, 1990
No it's not. The world should adopt bitcoin and just use that or Monero. Gold backed currency requires trust, trust that the Government will hold to their word and they will not learn about the 6102 attack, gold is expensive to store expensive to ship, hard to divide, trust that they actually have it, trust that they're not making more money than the amount of gold that they have ect. Gold backed currencies is a relic of a bygone era. Bitcoin and or Monero is the future not trusting Government's.
In Brazil since 2016 almost no one use cash, we have something called PIX, that work exactly like BRICS pay but for national money transactions, nobody here use apple pay, TED or DOC, just PIX
A 'world currency' that is supposed to rival the US Dollar... that's from countries that depend on the US Dollar who generally have to use the US Dollar to build this 'currency'. This is going to be good...
Can't be done. India and China are rivals and have territorial claims and tensions. It's like having Russia and the US in a military pact. The same way Iran and Saudi Arabia are rivals. BRICS is a system to bypass US sanctions.
239 / 5,000 Why was XRP not covered in this video as it is the currency that BRICS pay will use? After all, the subject here is cryptocurrencies more than politics! (understanding of course that geopolitics and the cryotomarket are intrinsically linked)
I have been following you for at least 7 years and I continue to be impressed with your insights into world economics. How do you manage to summarize things so well? Did you get training in economics? Just curious and thank you!
4:03 Great distinction. As always, another one 'out the park', from the Coin Bureau team and Guy, made possible by it's Patreons, members, subscribers and viewers, alike. Kind regards, in deep appreciation, to you, yours and all.
I'll let the BTCers and lightning nodes try to help themselves in midst of this, while I'll just be laughing as my BSV works perfectly all the time, never adding up to $0.02 for transaction fees for decades.
@coinbureau Well done. I would have to disagree with the last example of Egypt and their IMF debt. Simply because 13billion USD in todays debt would be much easier to payoff when the world starts to back their currencies via GOLD and a new payment system. The revaluation of gold would send the US dollar to a much lower value and therefore any debt denominated in almost any fiat currency (not just the U.S. Dollar) not backed by gold/commodities would be breeze to dump and/or payoff.
They are very different countries with many goals, some of those goals geo politically are against each other. How long will these countries actually have the good will to work together. In addition many of the member countries go through regular upheavals of politics and ruling parties. We'll see.
Would be nice to not watching camera jumping forward and from the right. I’m not epileptic but that was tough one for me. Also I would suggest (only suggestion) for CB editors to check how our brain works and why right sided picture, or person looking left from the right side in most cases is pleasant for 95% of population. But if CB had put Guy at the right side, and then continue jumping between cameras like they did in this video , then it would be even worse disaster. So they just put it him the middle and made it half way bad
How doesr that claim about us interests rates at 9:40 make any sense? If I borrow a sum where my loan payments are 10% of my earnings, and the dollar drops in value (which happens with high interest rates), I need less than 10% earnings to continue payments. If the dollar doesn’t drop in value, then I still need 10%. If the dollar paradoxically (or temporarily) gains in value then I need more than 10%. In no case does the interest rate in the U.S. actually effect me, it’s the cost of the currency, which will _tend to diminish_ with high interest rates but infidelity can be held off or diminished.
Thank you for a great video, very interesting. I believe sanctions never work, just shows a bullying mentality which I detest. The rise of BRICS strength will hopefully provide a balance in the world order which is becoming more and more important. Keen to see the BRICS pay system become more widely available. It would be very interesting to be able to see the supply and demand data for commodities.

Thanks for correction. I am 70, German and love Crypto. So the grammar is secondary.
