How long did you use it for? Seeing that you didn't tune your ecu after replacing the filter cover, were there any problems with your bike later on? Please let me know

What will happen if I remove the airbox lid completely? I noticed a big change in engine sound and I quite liked it but can I use it as is? Or can i buy some other lid in local shop and do use it that way? I don't have enough money to buy this 3d print version

Do you have a separate vlog about fitting your svart 200 with 401 stock pipe? I am also opting for this kind of set up. Already preorder a 200 after the huge price cut announcement. June pa raw ang release. But I am already planning on fitting my unit with 401 stock pipe. Meron ka ba vid nito and do you have pics of your svart 200 with 401 stock pipe.

Great video! I have a 701 Svartpilen 2020 and just got it. Where did you get those bar end mirrors and are they better than stock or they just look good. Also, how do you like the tank bag. Some with the bike felt it messed up the appearance and effected their riding because it got in the way. Thank
I got them from an online store in my country. Where are you from? And yes, they work equally better than the stock. Also, not really a fan of tank bags 😅
@@juanicofernandez I am in the U.S. Why don't you like the tank bag? Have you considered the side bag and if not why?
@@p-dub7422 Personally, I feel like it doesn't match the look of the bike or it breaks the shape of the bike, 99% of the time I'll most probably use a backpack.

Great video Jaunico. Unrelated- I'm looking at tyre options for when it's time to replace my Pirelli Scorpions. Which tyre is that you are using? Not seen that tread pattern before.
Those are the stock Metzeller tyres for the 200 :)
@@juanicofernandez Ah, okay. I hadn't realised it was a 200 model. I have a UK 401 with the OEM Scorpions on it. Are yours 150/60 17 rear and 110/70 17 front? Or does the 200 come in a different size.

I have the svart 200 with 401 muffler hehe. and yes nka cat delete pero is a lang hehe.

You should really think about this mod from a makers point of view. If making a few cut outs and adding sponge underneath the air box cover will boost performance then the 1000cc Supersport would have had this long time ago.
Unless you tune the ecu with a air and exhaust system you will not see any gain. Infact you may lose bottom end torque. The overall powerband might change a bit some place in the rev range you may see some marginal improvements some place you may see decrease in performance.
Air is most probably being sucked in through the cut outs since the sponge would be least resistive path for the air to flow through as compared to the paper filter.

mostly just cosmetic like bar end sidemirrors
yup, problem with svart 200. mabibitin ka at not too comfortable on long rides due to sitting position. parang scrambler tapos enduro style yung body sya. kung porma lang hanap mo at basic trails then eto ang motor para sayo. if you are looking for speed, go duke 200 or vitpilen.

in the philippines this 200cc version costs 175k while the 400cc version costs around 300k

Without mounting a complete exhaust (with de-cat) and an ecu the bike will only make more noise, the performance remains unchanged indeed it is probably even worse for the health of the engine as more air enters without increasing the petrol.
It’s fuel injected. Anything done before combustion like this really isn’t adding power, just making it not as hard to pull in the air. Past that the air fuel mix is computer controlled, so you cannot really do damage. It’s the people removing the entire exhaust without an ecu remapping that are potentially harming their bikes. A slip on muffler is fine, but removing the cat and chamber will make the already leaned out mix from factory do some damage.

the price of the bike includes engineering design. changing the engineering design is like throwing some value of the bike.
