Let’s get some facts out, the 1.5l take the lower 91 Ron so is actually cheaper to run opposed to the excite and essence in 95 Ron. The trade off in power doesn’t face me as needing to pump 95 Ron and above.
I drive a MG ZST paid 33k for the top spec. It's crap. For many reasons. I just booked a rav4 awd cruiser hybrid. Current wait time is 2 years but I bet it will come down. Probably closer to 12 to 18 months. The mg zst uses premium petrol, you can't turn off or on the air con when your on a voice call, the sun roof has the most paper thin roof cover. So the car is on fire on a average sun day in Australia. The fake leather sux and gets super hot after a few minutes in the sun, you literally need to open the doors and let the car cool down. The touch screen has an almost 2 second delay between touches, it's frustratingly slow. So anyone saying buy a chinese car. Think twice. Think 3 times. Yes it's cheaper but so many things will piss you off about the car.
It is indeed true that you get what you pay for. Having said that, MG's build quality has improved in the last couple of years and their new centre console screen software in the EVs is much better than the older version in the petrol cars.
All U need for it to drive properly EliteDrive smart throttle controller. On the other hand I dunno if you got the auto transmission correct in this review mine has the 8 speed in it.🤨
Gotta love those bright sparks that buy a car with a sunroof in Australia then complain about the heat. Oh yeah, and while on that call, press and hold the aircon button beneath the display.
How would you fair this to a comparable specification haval jolion? Cheers 😊
Magnifique voiture !!
So you have to use premium unleaded fuel?
Yes you do :)
So you're saying it's better than a Crosstrek?
No, but it's better on the highway. The Crosstrek being all-wheel dive is much better off road.
