- Due to a lot of rain in the past couple of years, fungus on succulents just seem to be everywhere. I've finally found the solution to my fungus problem; so no more throwing plants away. This solution also works well with Mealybug, Aphids and Fungus gnats.

You find the most marvelous and interesting pots...should do a video on where you find them..on coupling the pots with the succulents, as well 😀 ..
I think i have fungal problems because we had many days of cloudy weather , fog and rain..does not happen 🙃 very often in sunny 😎 Colorado...unusual cool June...now warm to hot again with sun.
Love ❤️ ya Liz...hope you and hubby are doing well...
Thanks very much Carol. Hope your babies will overcome the fungus problems.
Your plants look beautiful👍😊💜🌸🌸🌸
Thank you Lidia. 😊
Thank you for enduring the freezing weather to show us your beautiful succulents, Liz.
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video.
I love you succulents😍
Cinnamon also helps combat fungus. When you take a cutting off the plant you can dip it in cinnamon and then let it harden off. The pests don’t like the cinnamon as well
It took me a while to see the notification. Darn UA-cam.
Another beautiful video 💙
I'm glad you found it. Thanks for watching.
I love succulents i enjoyed watching your video
Thank you so much 🙂
Wonderful job on this video. Enjoyed it so much. Your plants are so beautiful. I saw your longissima, and so many of your plants that I have. Thanks for your advanced succulent class Dr. Liz😜💯✔🌹
I love succulents i enjoyed watching your video

Good morning thank you for time and freezing to show us your beautiful succulents 😊🤩🥶
My pleasure 😊
Gorgeous succulent collection, I didn’t realize there were that many beautiful succulents. Thank you for showing them off
You’re welcome. 😊Thanks for watching!
You can add it into your soil mix as well 👍
I've wondered why that yours do better in the cold than mine in similar condition don't do well and I finally think I've got it... You have so many together with cloth over head where I have less plants and no cloth. The ones against the house fare better but I think I still need more accomodations for them.i have small greenhouses but still I need more work...
This is why I huddle them up together. Some high and some low position and also age of the plant matters as well. Newly bought plants are far more sensitive to the element that the ones that's been grown in the same spot for years.
I got plants from other growers in my area that are exposed to the same weather but the minute I expose them to my place, they rot or die on me.
I love your pots with the flowers on them, can you remember where u got them from? Please go and warm up! U r so lucky to have some rain, it is as dry as a crisp in Brisbane.
I got it from a friend of mine which bought it from another local succulent addict and apparently she imported them from Vietnam and was excess for her use. There's a few of them selling on Facebook on some succulent groups but the postage are the biggest issue. Maybe try to find a local seller in your area.
Beautiful video ❤
Thank you!! Hope you'll find it useful.
I loved this but so sorry that you had to freeze. Your babies are breathtaking. Watching your videos always allows me permission to buy a few more!!!! Thank you Liz!
I'm so glad! You're most welcome and thanks for watching.
Its so interesting the way u handle all the vagaries of the weather. Stepping out at night to check and see and asking the babies to snuggle up or they gonna freeze.😁. As always very informative and entertaining. The bumpy and also the round form of longissima are beautiful. All are and i cant decide which one i like the best
You are always in such a good mood, it's amazing!!!! where i live there is frost too, i would be drying them all and covering it all, fully stressed but you... you are singing! amazing 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I'm sad when they die but the lessons learned outweighs the sadness. And I'm happy to have an excuse to justify buying new varieties. 😂Thanks for watching.
I just spent 250 dollars on succulents this week, Very jealous of your beyonce's :P Bought myself a rainbow west variagate echeveria, from let love grow :P
That is awesome! Good choice of plants. I love West Rainbow but doesn't like Canberra weather.
I think it's fantastic you've got random oxalis in your pots, just like I do here in SoCal! LOL! Oxalis is everywhere!!! 🤣🤣
They're also good determinant to how wet the soil is.
So cold Liz I don’t know how you do it..😅 some of my plants where affected buy fungus/mildew last year badly. this year I sprayed them with Mancozeb (buy it in concentrate) in the last week of autumn and I’m about to respray again as a preventative. I’ve not had an issue so far. You may have too many, but preventative spraying seems to work. It does mean some powdery spots on your plants from the spray unfortunately but better than mildew spots I think? Keep warm, only a couple more months to go 🥶
I have very little fungus considering the amount of plants I have and been regularly buying infected plants as well from bunnings and other nurseries.
I also find that "some" succulents I bought online have some remnants of fungicide sprays and within a week or two of having them, starts growing fungus on them. But....most of them are doing really well. The marks will eventually grow out and find that the succulents become stronger.
Beautiful succies. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video.
I was just thinking of you today Liz. I love how you explained what ‘Arvo’ is 😂. It was -7 last night so I was wondering how your succulents were handling these freezing temperatures🥶🥶🥶
I was up watching the cricket and went to check at 4am. Had an argument with hubby coz he didn't believe me when I said it was -7 on my outside thermometer. Got a few casualties of the recent acquisitions.
I so much like how you pronounce maam 😂, also you have lots of beautiful succulents... Asa ka sa Philippines maam? I am so curious kay bisaya sad ko😁😁😁😁

Hello Liz! I was watching your video every time ,i did learning some thing about succulent on your chanel, i look after my succulent the same your way to show on video my succulent getting better some have a baby growing up. so i am very happy.. May i ask you Liz? How some plants have white look like powder on the leave. Please can you tell me what happen with that.Thank you
There are thousands of different succulents. Not all succulents are the same. The white powder on some succulents serves as a protection from the sun. It's the same as in fruits. Apples have shiny skin and peaches have fluffy skin. Some citrus fruit like oranges have thick peels and some like mandarin have thin peels or skin. They serve different purposes.
Some succulents like cactus have long spikes or spines and can serve as sun protection and also water storage. And some tropical cactus/succulents like Epiphyllum's have less spines/spikes because they are grown in areas with lots of water or high humidity.
Happy winter, Liz! Thank you for sharing the video. I am dealing with some fungus issues as well, so I really want to try that spray. But, will that insect spray destroy the farina?
I find that this behaves like water. May I suggest that always do a test spray on some succulents with high farina. It seems to not worry my Laui hybrids.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you for your input Liz. I will do a test spray first. :)
❤u! I'm in Southern California. Since the sun is out early and all day, do you think it's ok to spray for fungus and bugs and water in the evening? Thank you!!
Late in the afternoon is best if they're outdoors. In a protected area with no direct sun, I use my bug spray anytime that suits me. Summer watering if I have to, is done late in the afternoon.
Anybody knows the name at 4:40?
Echeveria Agavoides Chapote
