If you have health issues or certain compelling circumstances that you cannot fully fast from water, then it is better to take water and carry on your devotional activities. Just make sure to avoid grains and beans at all cost and observe normal Ekadashi fasting.
यदि आपको स्वास्थ्य संबंधी समस्याएं हैं या कुछ ऐसी मजबूरी वाली परिस्थितियां हैं कि आप पानी से पूरी तरह उपवास नहीं कर सकते हैं, तो पानी लेना और अपनी भक्ति गतिविधियों को जारी रखना बेहतर है। बस अनाज से परहेज करना सुनिश्चित करें और सामान्य एकादशी व्रत का पालन करें।

Doing nirjala ekadashi vrat, its 11:45pm 18th june and im feeling a slight discomfort in my chest area on and off (first time doing dry fast). I'm 25 years old and no matter happens, I will continue the vrat!!! Hare Krishna, Radhe Radhe.
Edit: Just a few hours before Parana time I had to drink a little bit of water as my pain kept coming again. I hope merciful lord will understand me. Radhe Radhe.

Jada prblm ho to naha lena chahiye 2/3 baar jaise sham me aur raat me
Baki 3:45 tak jis din fast h uss din pani pi skte h to raat me alram 1,2,3 bheje ka laga le taki time to time ut kr pani pite rhe lastly 3:45 se phele ors ghol pile taki fast ke din help mile

Normal h ye chiz...practice se sab thik ho jayega...
Aur sahi karne k liye practice karni pdegi...so here is the formula: whenever you fast, do not pay attention to the demands of body..and keep Krishna in your conscience (his smile, his eyes)...and everything would go smoothly!
People all over the world don't know what Ekadashi is so it would be better to say it in English
