I wish you all the best for your fabulous premier of the new cell activator. It will be 4am in my neck of the hemisphere but can’t wait to watch the replay. ❤
Very pretty Sara. Vibrant colors. I love the qualty of the sea foam or frothy cells in this painting. I like the texture and the depth in this painting. Love seeing you excited about this new CA receipe. Have a blast while on vacation with your family while taking in new sights and sounds to filter back into new paintings to come.🐦🐞🌻💜💚💛💙👣👣😇
Love the colors in this. My Granddaughter says she sees the colors of an active volcano in the middle! Thank you for sharing your experience and talent with us!
Beautiful!! I love what that Pebeo stuff does as it dries. The texture is beautiful!! I am so happy to hear that the Tri Art paints make great cell activators!! Finally something good for Canada. There are so many products, like Deco Art and Arteza paints that don't ship to Canada so we have to buy from Amazon and their prices are so much higher and TriArt is made in Canada and I can order directly from them and the prices are so much cheaper!! Yay for us. Beautiful swipe and I just love that texture from Pebeo!!! ❤
Woah! Sara, that colour! And oh my god the texture! This swipe is phenomenal ❤ I love that you use different techniques used by others but yours always stand out as a ‘Sara Taylor’. They have this magic to them and form that others lack. I’m not taking away from other artists, what they do is beautiful, unique to them but yours……well they’re just special. I wish I could afford to be a patreon Sara, I wish I could help support you as an artist because you deserve the recognition and regard. Maybe one day my circumstances will change and I’ll be able to help towards your costs. Enjoy your holiday Sara. Love and light 🙏🏻🌈
I hope you know that your words and Support are more valuable than you’ll ever know! Thank you for always being on my side and pushing me forward. It’s never gone unnoticed.🙏❤️
Hey Sara, loved your new video, and painting. I am always inspired by your constant adventure in artistry and alchemy. Your colors are so beautiful, I never can replicate the hues, just goes to show what a master you are, and a Wild Woman! 😊 Have a wonderful vacation with your beautiful family🤩💜
Well, the Universe was working against me this a.m., so after waiting with baited breath for days, I got to the live show at the very end.😩So I immediately watched it on replay. This is jaw-dropping! From huge cells to absolute FROTH! Amazing. New stuff a winner!💥🪄🤸♀️❤
1st time viewer here....this is just so beautiful ~ colors & the cells!! Can't wait to try out Tri-Art paints as cell activator, since I have much trouble getting cells, even with Amsterdam Tit-White. But am fairly new to this art medium & still trying to mix my paints to proper consistency. Have a lovely family vacation!😊
So sorry I missed your premiere, Sara. The painting is a WOW! Your color pallet and composition are fabulous as usual and I Love the texture. I guess not being a "bloomer" I can't really tell too much difference in the cells/lacing. I did notice you got some color in color cells and it seems like the lacing kept its round shape more than the Amsterdam paint. Is that what you meant by the integrity of the cells is better? I think the painting is brilliant and so different from other blooms. So, if the new cell activator gets you the results you want...fantastic! Looking forward to seeing what else you create with this new tool..😊🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Wowza! It certainly is a game changer! Sara... when I hear your outro theme, I get so excited. I'm frequently tempted to start commenting before it because I love what's happening, but I'm learning to wait! This is amazing. Love the transparency in those colors.
Sara, can you do a video on showing you mixing the paints, the pouring mediums and mixing the Pebeo moonstone please? This is going to sound crazy but hear me out please. I lost my mama nine days before my 47th birthday, three weeks later to the day of losing mama my grandma passed and eleven months later my stepdad. I have been on an emotional rollercoaster that just seems to have no stopping point. The painting you done in this video has me in literal tears. There is such a peacefulness to this painting and when mama passed she was very much at piece. This painting gives me that peaceful feeling I felt when I held mamas hand. Oh my gosh, I can’t even hardly type this out from the floodgate of tears. It just makes me feel peaceful and calm. Which is incredible! I hope you do get to see my comment. Thank you for giving me that moment of peace and calmness. It was almost as mama was saying here is your sign that I am ok baby girl.
Revisiting this as i have so much more luck with this paint base recipe. I have a few triart high viscosity paints but no white. I do have white liquid paint from triart. Have you tried making a CA with their liquid paints by chance
Oh my goodness, the texture is so cool! I love the addition of texture - is that all from the Pebeo Moon oil paint? Yes, the new line of Fluid Art Co’s paint colors have a distinctive ability to cell up beautifully. It’s a lovely composition, Sara - I’m just enamored by it.
Sara, you have such an incredible eye for this type of art. Your colors are always amazing, and I do t even have a word for the way you slay your compositions. I’m wondering if you could tell me where you got the 2 pallet knives that you used in todays painting.
Mary, thank you for your beautiful words! I’ve gotten most of my pallet knives from Fluid Art Co. They have a beautiful variety of knives that are made by RGM which is wonderful.
Love it the texture on lt looks stunning have you mixed resin in your paints it leaves a bubble 🫧 texture which looks great I still have to get the colors right .
Sine it's six months later, I hope you see this comment, Sara. I love it that you use your Oui jars for your paints. I have tons of those things and also use them for paints and brushes. Way better choice than plastic cups. I wanted to ask, when you use an oil based product, what's your preferred method for cleaning your painting before finishing? Great results, as usual!
Hi Susan, are those jars wonderful!? Are usually dilute some Dawn dish soap, and some water and give it a good scrub. If I’m using any oil, I definitely avoid using resin. It’s very hard to get enough of the oil off. I like to use a Liquitex varnish after I get as much oil off as I can.👍
Hi Sara, I am so inpired by your works and especially your latest creation. After seeing this last piece of yours, I was inspired to order some Tri Art and Aussie Floetrol. I understand the pillow and cell activator recipes and their roles but I'm not sure what the Paint PM for? Please help!
Hey Sara, This piece is gorgeous as always and I would like to know f you can still varnish your painting ? Because if the moon paint is oil based , do you need to wash it first ? Thanks for all the inspiration . Big Hugzzzz 🥰🥰😘😘💖💖
Surprisingly, you do not need to wash it! It’s not enough oil to affect the varnish. Maybe if you were using resin, it would be different, but varnish has no problems. It does need to cure longer because of the way it dries.
Sara your piece is beautiful. I have a question regarding using the polyurethane and gloss varnish about fumes and possible yellowing. Is is what causes the texture in your painting? Are these additives expensive as I paint for pleasure and on a budget. I appreciate the work you put in to discovering this new technique primarily just worried about fumes and yellowing.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I love those voluptuous cells and this beautiful colors. Lordy!!!

It’s a lovely composition, Sara - I’m just enamored by it.
Wow , it makes it look 'sudsy' :)
Right! That is actually the pebeo moon does that.
Sara love your technique, would you kindly tell us what’s your technique for mixing acrylic paint? 1 part colour paint and floetrol?
I actually left my recipes and links to videos that have really great in-depth recipes in the description of the video under “more”

Beautiful painting, Sara! Question for you - what do you use as a dispersant for your pigments? Thank you! xoxo
Great question, for the bloom technique I generally use josagno varnish. For the Pearl technique I would use GAC 100 or Liquitex pouring medium.

I can’t either
Sorry about that, I thought it was live! It will be on fluid Art Co website in 30 minutes 🤙

Hi Renea! Are you asking about which palette knife ?
