We have many clients that carry both the RazorSword and a firearm; however, your handgun would need to be affixed to the outside of your belt...not to the inside.
Due to the sung, yet comfortable fit of the spring steel sword; there is no extra room inside the belt.
Many of our CCW clients will carry the RazorSword when it is not practical or comfortable to carry a bulky handgun.
Additionally, in an ambush (Assassination attempt) CQB scenario; an edged weapon may have the advantage over your primary weapon.
Typically, a handgun is easier to disarm than an edged weapon; not to mention, a counter attack in total silence is a virtue...much to be desired!
--- As a civilian I was trained by "retired" US Army Counterintelligence personnel. I spent time in South America; the last thing you need is a loud gunshot with the bad guys right around the corner.
--- From that knife culture; I know what edged weapons are capable of doing to a human target, and the optimum design for concealed carry swords and daggers.
Properly trained, an edged weapon can be more lethal than a handgun; totally silent, never jams, never runs out of ammunition. If the bad guy ambushes you with his gun already drawn; you cannot outdraw him...your handgun is useless.
If you wish to discuss; please call me at 414-333-3300.

Hi, is it possible to have a setup with a leather "case" for the sword?

Anything is possible; the cost of re-design and testing to a client’s specs may become an issue. On the simple side; a RazorSword could be placed in a square or round suitcase…because it is flexible.
I know you have an opinion that the BeltSword Weapon System is not a concealable system; but it is totally concealed inside a belt.
There are three main parts to the system.
      1. First is the leather belt that is wider than the RazorSword. The RazorSword is retained behind the leather belt…totally obscuring the RazorSword.
      2. The second part to the BeltSword is a patented “Flexible Linked Steel Containment Rail System”. It retains the RazorSword behind the leather belt, and protects the wearer from the sharp edge of the RazorSword. From the front; it looks like a normal black belt. (I have worn this in front of police, in government buildings that say “No Weapons Allowed”, and never had anyone question me)
      3. The third part is the RazorSword; which is a flexible spring steel strip that is specially tempered via a computer-controlled heat-treating process. The process is over a block long. We use a company on the east coast of the US.
I have clients that wear the BeltSword Weapon System in countries where this system is highly illegal; they have not been caught.
      Very respectfully, Curtis W. Koehler
