Bill makes us feel less crazy. Got us like “Oh shit! That’s what I do!” Then he got you hooked. His stories could go on forever, and it would still feel like 5 min. Every turn the story takes got you jones-ing even more. He’s a cold piece on that stage.
I'm a huge animal lover and I'll say straight up most dogs live for those moments where they wrestle with their owners. It's like the only point in the day where the roles switch and instead of the dog having to act like a human and be all house trained, the human comes down to their animal level, they love that shit

There is another lesson to be learned from this video. You learned about the dog being taught to claim the house and fight for it.. when you only believed it was just play. The second lesson that can be taken from this is that our understanding of the reality around us is limited to our own viewpoints and our own experiences. Our viewpoints and experiences are never 'the whole truth' and we should keep an open mind to opposing points of view and judge them based upon the experiences of those who hold those views. This kind of understanding will lead to more compromise and less extremism. That is a lesson that the majority of today's society has forgotten.
I feel so sorry for people stuck in quarantine. I stayed pretty much home for a month. That was all I could take and then I said to hell with it.

If I am right, I am sure I heard that scientists (some at least) believe dogs are wolves that have some varient of the Williams-Beuren Syndrome. Probably something bred into them by our selection. One aspect of the syndrome is a continual want to please others.
Part of the study was to see if dogs only loved their master for the food they give them, they did this by placing a bowl of food and the owner at equal distances from the dog and allowing the dog to choose. The dog always (apparently) chose the owner before going to the food, even very young dogs.
They want to be good, they want to make people happy, more than they want for themselves. They are incredible creatures...........

You will learn important things. Like boundaries, limitations and respect. Then love on them when you get them to be calm, submissive. Cuz when you hype up, you tell the dog it's the state you want them to be in. 😊 🌹 ❤️

For example, you're sitting on the couch watching TV (NOT SPORTS YOU MANIAC). The dog's on the floor. You crawl down on the floor and start with affection, then light playing, then wrestling.
After wrestling you go back to light playing then affection again.
When you do this you bring the energy back down.
In this example, if repeated often enough, you set boundaries for the wrestling AND in the dog's mind the wrestling in a part of PLAY, not training, hiking, returning home, etc.
See what's accomplished in just this ONE EXAMPLE.
1. You're controlling the ENERGY level.
2. You're setting it apart from everything other than PLAY.
3. You get to have the FUN with your dog that you and your dog want and enjoy.
Just come up with something just as structured that fits your precise circumstances. Or completely devise your own from scratch.
Just make certain you're checking off those first two items in the last.
