  • www.sealmate.net Sealmate is the one and only tool that will instantly repair leaking fork seals! This video shows how Seal Mate will fix leaking fork seals on your street bike in this video we used a Yamaha FJR 1300 that had leaking fork seals. R&J Engineering has invented this tool that will fix the leaky fork seals without the cost of removing and replacing them. Motorcycle shops charge aroundt $300 to replace the seals when in fact they don't actually need to be replaced. Instead for about $5 you can buy the sealmate tool at www.sealmate.net to save time and money.

    Fixed my heavily leaked FZR seal. Took maybe 30min. The amount of dirt under dustseal was aweful. So clean it well. Be cearful not to bend Seal Mate tool, first rotate is not easy.
    Thanks Seal Mate greets from 🇪🇪

    I just cleaned the fork seals on my 2008 Triumph Tiger 1050 and it worked like a charm. I found out that it is normal that oil will come out when you get the seal mate under the oil seal. I can see that once you used it, you think it is just a piece of plastic you can cut out of some container, but I wouldn't risk to mess up my seals just to save $5.00. I got mine at Cycle Gear. Thanks Sealmate!

    After watching this video I bought a pair of these Seal Mates. I also ride a 2006 Yamaha FJR1300. Cleaned my forks by following instructions and WOW it worked as advertised. No leaks no problems. Thanks Seal Mate.

    Used on a 2003 FJR. Took 2 passes, but worked as advertised. I think I will buy a small stack of them and use annually. Seems like a fresh one per fork per use would work best. Great product!

    Motion pro sells a neat little tool that will help you replenish oil in your fork that you have lost
    If you only have lost a very little you may not worry too much about it. (Allways follow your manufactures recommendations for the correct amount of fork oil ) You can also measure the amount of oil in the tube that is not leaking and do the same. You would do this with a small dowel or dipstick inserting in to the top to the forks with the bike level. R & J Engineering

    Hi Robert, do you have any advice for me how to remove the plastic fork protector without damaging it? Thanks!

    At 1:42, he is inserting the Seal Mate at a 45 degree angle then rotating it parallel to the fork tube. Not perpendicular as stated several times.

    I just got done using this. So far it looks great!! I do believe it may have done the trick!! Time, and a good ride will tell if it solved my leaky seals.
    I do have some questions. Is there a fix (other than the spendy re-seal job) to refill the oil that has leaked out? How can you tell (properly) whether or not you have enough oil now? What kind of oil is used??

    I've had tried it once, some watery liquid came as I inserted it, some amount squirted out all the time until tool removed, I didn't think forks were full to the brim? also, shouldn't I be getting sticky oil instead of a water like substance?

    Ninja 250r fork seals stopped leaking using this method. I used a similar home made shaped milk can material. Rest of the procedure is same.

    do you have to have front wheel of the ground when doing it

    • @RJEngineering
      @RJEngineering 8 років тому

      The Seal Mate tool will work on all Street and Dirt bikes, It does help to lift the front wheel relieving any added pressure in the forks while cleaning the fork seals out. Relieving that pressure will help the loss of fork oil during clean out.
