YESSS! Dante + Yakuza makes me a youtube addict haha. I wanted to no damage all the bosses aswell in the remaster but i was kinda rushing the platinum trophies. I'm nearly done though, the platinums are a breeze when you are doing it for the second or third time, very easy and fun!

Yeah, against lau ka long almost 0 changes with my previous version ad hard difficulty, except much more confidence in the first and second phase of the battle, especially the first phase. Yes, the battle against the officer is very interesting and really fun.

Yeah, I risked in this part because the game sucks. I wanted to do the heat action, the game despite I pressed the buttons correctly and performed the heat action pretty well.. for strange reason it didn't allow me to perform the heat action and i was almost fucked it up.
@@DanteDevil12 Same, it's really annoying when you lock onto an enemy while drunk and smoking to do the smoking heat action and you end up doing the drunk shoulder charge one. Oh well, at least 4 was somewhat better
I'm pretty used to it, But yakuza 3 is the only yakuza game where I play with all abilities unlocked and with critical health in order to increase ( Slightly) the damage against the bosses during my challenges.
Actual question real quick if you’ve played 7/Like a Dragon: There’s that weapons dealer that fights like Lau Ka Long, looks kinda like him, and references Kiryu, but is named Chau Ka Long. And on top of that Lau just got shot in the head here. So he is actually dead, and Chau is a different character with similarities that will make fans happy to see the smaller reference, right? Just making sure that the only surprise character who cheated death going into 7 is Kashiwagi, who feels fitting enough
It's a really hard question. I played the japanese version with 100 % + platinum...i'll play the game again in the future.. but i really don't know about lau ka long, there are a lot of strange things. for example: 1) According to Zhao during the drink event with ichiban, the Snake Flower once controlled Ijincho's Chinatown district, but that control was weakened heavily after Lau's death. so, i think he's dead from this part.. 2) but from my experience, Lau Ka Long is Chinese, for the Chinese the first name is the family name not the last name. 3) Chau also indirectly references Kiryu in his dialogue with Ichiban Kasuga, adding fuel to this speculation. also, Kashiwagi suffered from multiple shot wound from a frickin minigun and survived it... But shot in the head? You either have to be real lucky for the bullet missed its mark or deflect from your skull and in yakuza world everything is possible...

If that’s the case I’m cool with that, I was annoyed with the Kashiwagi twist as first but he lost a lot of years and his whole previous life so that’s fitting enough In the end tho, Yakuza has some big twists but looking back it seems like they wouldn’t go so far as to basically revive the dead (probably lol)
I do believe that's lau ka long himself. There are so many similarities pointing to that. same beard, same scar, same dual broadswords as his weapon (from yakuza 1). The password you need to visit him is LAU Chau Chau Ya which I believe is pure gibberish but Lau is in here. He correctly recalled kiryu and kazama when ichiban brings up tojo clan and claims that those are people he utmostly hate. There is no way he is not Lau himself. btw the Long in Lau/Chau Long means Dragon. Lau is cannonically another dragon in yakuza lore and Chau's summon attack is called Twin Dragon Crossfang. The hanzi/kanji for Ka Long is exactly the same too. He probably went hiding from tokyo business and faked his death, changed his family name and sneak to yokohama and started underground business there.
@@cokezero9254 I just hope they either set up another really devoted character as a possibly non-canon nod to a cool older character or they make him escaping death in 3 believable and an actual plot point, with believable context and all. Normally most people besides Kiryu take injuries or deaths realistically, even Kiryu does often enough. They gave Kashiwagi context, so if this really is Lau I hope they flesh it out in a cool way
It definitely is Lau as not only does he say he'd rather not be seen by the Tojo Clan, but Zhao even confirms he was the leader of the Snake Flower Triad. His survival isn't completely implausible when considering the part of the skull he was shot, but it is still a plot hole regardless when considering such a high-level CIA agent as Joji did such a shoddy job and a clear retcon when Y6 has an easter egg of Lau's ghost appearing in photos in certain parts of Little Asia. Not sure why Y7 has such an obsession with retconning the deaths in Y3.

Do you have a problem with Yakuza 3's horrible damage output, especially on Legend?
If you watch his ishin videos and some in yakuza 6 the damage is even lower.

Second attempt, during my first attempt i used the tiger drop during the end of the fight and i died.
