The owner is a parkdale torontonian who also revived other historic buildings in the city, including a café that was formerly Spencer Cleaners (spencer /king st) Other interesting historic buildings: 401 Richmond , Gladstone Hotel , both of which were acquired revived by the same family. An article back in the ‘90s mentioned that the 401 Richmond garment factory building was bought for 500K. i think for even back then that was a great price. Sounded like inside connections kind of deal, A parent in that family is an architect, Last i read the daughter Christina Zeidler sold the gladstone in 2020
