I like your v Ray frame buffer setting. .... how du you Set it like that ? after rendering saving n viewing the previous one ....n comparing ?? very useful setting. ...can u guide me for setting d same ?
what is advantage over lumion by doing these time and cost expensive renders. That also please speify in tutorial why this render not why lumion render
What did you mean by " we already have the setup" at the beginning of the video? Did you start with some settings ready or you only have the model at start ? Thanks for the tutorial by the way.
Hi... thanks for the comment. This video is an extract from from a soon-to-come online visualization course "RENDER LIKE A PRO"... So in the lessons before this, the test render set-up and the scene framing which involves correct positioning of camera was properly explained.... you can download the scene files from the link below so you can study them.
thanks so much for this tutorial the vray sun is not complicated as it seems. I also want to know when the next video is will be out? i am really expectant.... Thanks a bunch, Grant.
hello Grant, its great to know you found the video helpful... the sequel videos would be released along with an upcoming visualization course "RENDER LIKE A PRO" which would be released withing the first few weeks of next month.
Did the download not include the random objects I am not seeing the plants and furniture in the file? If not I understand if were meant to fill the scene ourselves. I really look forward to next tutorial I cant afford the pricey vray training I see online. Keep up the good work
Hello Dack, Thanks for the comment... only the building model was included in the file. As at the time of this video release we hadn't gained the permission to share most of the third party models. Cheers!
Thats A great Tutorial...Really Thank you... But I had one doubt, When I keep Vray Sun To Horizon and Behind the Model, the Sky Becomes Yellow as Sunset. Even When I Low Down The White Balance, The Model Looks little Blueish But The Sky Remains Yellow... How To Get That Blueish Sky As Evening ?? Thanks In Advacne :D Keep Up The Good Work.
nice tutorial. confusing camera sensitivity with Shutter speed tho. ISO values controls the cameras sensitivity while shutter speed controls the time the aperture will remain open
You're absolutely right...Shutter staying open for longer periods allows more light to reach the film or digital sensor...Was only trying to keep it as simple as possible in this video.
Hello Milissa, you can check the Autodesk website... www.autodesk.com/ for the 3dsmax software and the chaos group website ...www.chaosgroup.com/ to download V-ray Cheers!
Hi Chai, It is the default v-ray sky environment map. For this, pop-up will come once you are adding a v-ray sun into the scene and you need to hit yes to enable the same.
Hello, It greatly depends on the nature of the models you're creating, I mostly work with Architectural stuff, so naturally edit poly solves most of my problems.
hello beautiful work, I have a question I did set up the render but my project is not clear even if I render in medium or high quality will I be missing the materials or would it be in the render settings? can I send the render prints to your support email?
Hello, if you're referring to the model in this video, there are no textures or materials in it. The model was only attached to help you practice. If you're referring to your own project, then you would need to provide more information on the issue as your explanation isn't very clear.
When you first draw the Vray Sun, it should automatically ask you if you want "add Vray sky as environment" click "yes" and you should have the Vray sky with it corresponding colour.
Thank you... I was using an hp elite book workstation laptop at the time, it was an Intel quad core processor 2.5ghz and 16gb RAM, I think the gpu was an NVidia quadro k2000m 4gb dedicated. This was about 5 to 6yrs ago so I can't remember precisely.
sir can you show me please your render settings? just a screenshot so i can see, cuz some shadows doesnt look like that, i duplicated your scene...but the shadows looks diferent, i mean, not cuz the sun position, its just like, for example, the pool looks more darker on your scene, witch is correct, but in mine it looks exactly like the upper wall of the build...so bright....when it should be darker....thanks for the video

which version of 3ds max and vray did you use for this scene?
3dsmax 2015 and V-Ray 3.4
May we have the 3ds max files for practicing your tutorial? Thank you
Hello, you can find the link in the description of this video.
Pls send exterior render setup any one...
hi how to get blue sky? i only get white
When you first draw the Vray Sun, it should automatically ask you if you want "add Vray sky as environment" click "yes" and you should have the Vray sky with it corresponding colour.
Where do you get the trees from ?
The tree in the video is from evermotion.

What version of vray is this?
Hello Emil... it's vray 3.2 for 3dsmax
how can i get color in plants ? they always come out in gray :c
It's very likely because you haven't linked the texture paths of those models to 3dsmax.
can you PLEASE share brother your render settings..
