Now one thing I will point out is that this video is 4 years old from 2019 from when I first started doing treats so my knowledge with luster dusts was not that great but lessons were learned and proper dusts have been used since then. This Luster Dust is non-toxic and will not harm you but it is better to use dust marked "edible". After 600+ comments later, any negative comments and trolling and remarks after this comment is posted will be removed and you will be blocked from the channel. I prefer my channel to be positive but if you insist on wanting to throw in your comment of the same thing 600+ comments later then I will happily stand up for myself and restrict you. I hate I had to post this but I must. Thank you and please continue enjoying the content I provide! Love you all
Nice video, if I may give you a tip, once you place your toothpick , dip the berry then place it upside down in a Styrofoam to let dry and that will keep the strawberry from creating a foot on the bottom.
The gold you used said for decorative purposes only. Is that really a good grade item? Just asking so people don’t run out and buy gold paint or gold dust that is not food safe. Usually it will say good grade luster dust. Didn’t see that on your package.
THANK YOU MY BROTHA! I am a new born baby at decorating cookies and I have watched countless videos about this subject. You have answered all by questions in your video. I feel so much better knowing what I know and making the necessary purchase. Before I would put several different luster dust in my cart and get scared and delete everything. I am so much more confident now and I appreciate you. Real simple and to the point. Thank you again.
Man, I wish so much that I would have seen this video before my parents 50th wedding anniversary! Those strawberries are beautiful, I learned something new today!
I started decorating cakes when I was 15 years old. I'm 60 now, and know I have things still to learn. The consistency of the gold with the vodka was one of them. Thank you.
This was the best first video I've ever seen!! Thank you for taking the time to do it! Gold & white strawberries are exactly what I wanted to make & yours are gorgeous!!
You did great with everything, explaining the process step by step, your technique, capturing everything under good lightning, the sound quality, everything. Great job! I can't wait to see more content.
You did a great job. They look so pretty. And for some of the viewers the dust is non toxic, which means u won't die from it. But there are editable ones out there.
AMAZING! That was by far, the best video on gold luster dust use for edible painting I've seen yet! I'm located in North MS, so I will definitely be visiting Mary Carter's!
WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I'm blown away and I can't believe this is your first video!! I not only subscribed but hit the bell so I will be notified when you post new videos...YAAAY!! OUTSTANDING job with your tutorial presentation and your voice is PURE PERFECTION in following your instructions!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! I love making handmade truffles using molds and handwrap in foil candy papers. Also love to make dipped strawberries. YOU, MY YODA....have become my new teacher....lol!!! Sending blessings & peace, Lynda
I do love the way you teach!! It’s really helps people like me that are self taught to really help create different sweet treat just want you to know I appreciate you!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hey first timer, I just wanna say, don't b nervous u did very well. ND those berries were beautiful. U took your time, d but didn't talk too much. I enjoyed your video. Keep up the gud work
Hello to you and your subscribers friends. New subscriber here from Florida, USA 🇺🇸! I’ve watched several videos tonight about chocolate covered strawberries and your tutorial has been the best one, easy and simple to understand. My admiration and respects for you, thank you very much for sharing your wonderful talents!
Thank you very much for this in depth painting video. Do you know any alternatives to Disco Dust? I want to use an FDA approved Food Grade, Edible glitter, not just a "non-toxic" glitter like Disco Dust that's not approved by the FDA. Thanks!!
Hello I recently moved to Memphis not long ago. I was having trouble finding my supplies here, thank you so much for the information on where to go here in Memphis. I reached out to another artist here in Memphis and she was unwilling to share any information on local stores so thanks a million. You did a great job for your first time.
Hey man I’m so proud of you!!! Well done you have done a great job I so appreciate you and you deserve all the goodness coming your way!!! Thank you kindly
the video and instructions were great i looked at a lot of videos and yours was the best cause you showed and described exactly what i was looking for . absolutely beautiful strawberries.
Lol. That is not whatchu want!!!! Great job on your first video. Excellent sanitation, presentation and explanation. I am doing research to learn to make these got my babies birthday party. Yours video popped up first. Very pleased!!!!
Hello, can you please tell me the exact brand of the gold luster dust you used. I clicked on the link you provided but I can’t seem to find the gold you used . Thanks
Those are beautiful and finally someone showing us how to make an actual paste!!! I will try this with my next order. Got tired of turning ppl down because I was using water and like you said it is very difficult and time consuming 😩 tfs!!! New Sub!!
Syvonda Lawrence Everclear works best because it’s a high alcohol content. Also PLEASE use editable products. What he used isn’t editable!!!! He did a beautiful job but the product he’s using is only for display not to eat.
Very first...you did GREAT...question though...when it came to the dust, it said "for decoration only" and then you said "it's edible"...please explain...because I would love to do that and flowers and foil...
Dion, there are magnificent. Do you think they'll work well in a polycarbonate mold with chocolate? I'd love an opaque finish that's as metallic as what you're doing here.
Once you apply the gold on the strawberries, how long does the gold stay on thus maintaining the original shine? A couple of hours, or a day or two...?

These are the most beautiful strawberries I have ever seen. Too pretty to eat!!
Agreed. I'd still eat them though.
Not edible though.
I've watched many CCS videos, this is hands down the best one. I love how you are not over talking.
Your videos are so positive and soothing. I know a lot of this information but I find my glued to your page. Your a great teacher.

The color pop at the very end was very beautiful, elegant & boujie! That metallic gold & vodka was a game changer! Thank you❤❤❤

An eye dropper works really well if you are beginning and uneasy about pouring the vodka into the dust.
Love the video. Does the disco dust just stick without you needing to do anything else.
