My niece in Greenville, SC, lost power 9 days after Helene. She & her family came here to central Florida to escape. They went home the day their power was restored & escaped Milton that came right over us 2 days later. 😂 It's incredible that the VAST majority of power has already been restored throughout our state. Our Gov & 1st responders are truly the best of the best. 🥇 We appreciate them more than they'll ever know. God bless them ALL. 🌞🏖🇺🇲🙏🏼💞

I wish my state was better prepared for emergencies and that we had a governor like desantis. My state ran itself into the ground and now they pass new tax after new tax even when the tax payers vote no, they just find new ways to pass it without the tax payers approving it.

He has been a great Governor for this state. One other big issue he needs to tackle though, insurance. With all these storms and the damage they caused, insurance rates are going to skyrocket once again. Many people are no longer going to be able to afford living here if this issue doesnt get resolved.

My family was surrounded by water around them and the y didn't know it. If it was worse in those that got winds and less water but they were lucky or maybe they prayed but being prepared wherever you are to not be at all in the path of the hurricane 🌀. Some that got it bad didn't evacuate and weren't in the path because they didn't know exactly where it was going. Healing for those who went through it worser!!! Sometimes water has to get everywhere in climate changes. So beware of that!!!! Some said they could not evaluate because they didn't have car or money. Could they had someone pick them up with buses !!!!❤

Is DeSantis allowed to send all his electrical people to North Carolina to help or will the government not help her that pay for that? North Carolina still needs their power on hoping the Santas can help with that somehow seeing how well he’s done to get Florida up and running.
Florida did send some crews after Helene, but had to recall them due to Milton. I'm not sure what those numbers are, but it was mentioned in a press conference right after Milton. Not sure if they'll be returning or not, but im sure its posisble once the job is done at home...... Our prayers are with EVERYONE impacted by these nightmare storms, from Tampa Bay-

He needs to desperately address the supply chain of gas on evacuation routes north to Atlanta. You can’t evacuate if no gas is available on the route. Many other preparations were well organized.

That's a separate amount for household whose homes are partially damaged but still livable. It's the FEMA Clean and Sanitize Assistance. They literally announced this in this video.

This is a separate amount from FEMA besides the $750. However, I have a relative in Georgia whose home was severely damaged in Helene. She applied for the $750.00 but did not qualify for it. I think it was because she had homeowner’s insurance. She is staying in a hotel and probably will be for a long time.
