I find it morbidly hilarious that the reason Trunks' timeline got screwed over by Zamasu is essentially that Trunks is too competent and keeps on taking out the bad guys before they really get to screw things up.

same goes for Piccolo defending Gohan from Nappa's attack. I am not a huge fan of 3D versions of animated story but they actually did a better job than the anime in some parts.
Since a lot of people forgot, or aren't aware, Vegeta's plan was to jump Dabura, while Supreme Kai deals with Babidi, so he could go back and fight Goku in the Tournament. Supreme Kai didn't realize that all 3 Saiyans were stronger than Dabura, so that's why he didn't like Vegeta's plan. Had they listened to Vegeta, the entire Buu Saga would have been avoided. Supreme Kai should have asked all 3 Saiyans to show him their full power, instead of assuming that Gohan was the strongest Saiyan out of the group

Hearing Trunks screaming LEAVE OUR WORLD THE HELL ALONE when he kills Babidi and Dabura with that Burning Attack was fucking SICK. I got chills. This DLC was fucking AMAZING.

Vegeta hasn't been like that, since Z. He tried to stop Moro in the manga, from absorbing 73. Goku in the Black manga, tried to stop Black and Zamasu, from fusing.
Trunks is a great example of dragon balls just not always fixing everything and making characters die a normal thing. Like theres is actual consequences rather then just "hey just use dragon balls who cares that he died".
If anything it shows why the dragonballs are needed. And people who say the dragonballs make death mean nothing have never experienced a loved one die. Even if they came back it wouldn't be the same. That lost is still felt.
they even broke shenron's 2 deaths rule, it really doesn't matter if someone dies, even "erasing" a character from existence has no meaning cause guess what? dragon balls can bring them back. No stakes at all, only fine with that cause it'll hopefully bring us the reimagined shadow dragons arc

Ngl i was pissed that this was a dlc. But this was my absolute favorite part of the game. I was super surprised and very pleased that they included this part of Trunks story

That depends on whether or not Dabura powered up in the Majin chamber, like he did before fighting Gohan. Before using the Chamber, Dabura was weaker than Perfect Cell by a wide margin. After using it, he became just as strong as Perfect Cell

Personality wise trunks and gogeta are my 2 picks if i need a saiyan to protect me.Both take every fight serious. Trunks is the symbol of hope and Gogeta is the perfect persona for a fight. (Gogeta vs broly and gogeta vs janemba)(Trunks vs mecha frieza and Trunks vs imperfect cell in trunks timeline) perfect examples of not fucking around and fetting right to the point.
So apparently Dokkan Battle has a What If Broly from Z came to earth of Future Trunks. They became really good friends, and i would love to see how the Bu Saga would be for Trunks and Broly.
Supreme Kai is actually kind of awesome in the future timeline. I get he was traumatized by Buu and shit, so he may come off as incredibly weak, but we must not forget that he's as strong as Grade 4 ssj goku from the cell games, a very respected power even for the buu saga. Supreme Kai rushed in knowing that if he dies, Beerus is gone. That takes some real balls. Kibito too for trying his best with his android saga Vegeta power level
Future Trunks is great but we can tell he has no saiyen's pride. Vegeta or Goku would have never accepted Supreme Kai's help to finish an enemy even if the world is at stake.
Which is exactly why they always end up doing a lot more harm than necessary (the entire cell saga anyone?) trunks gets the job DONE. No waiting, no “pride”, just dishing out punishment left and right

Future Trunks is great but we can tell he has no saiyen's pride. Vegeta or Goku would have never accepted Supreme Kai's help to finish an enemy even if the world is at stake.
Which is exactly why they always end up doing a lot more harm than necessary (the entire cell saga anyone?) trunks gets the job DONE. No waiting, no “pride”, just dishing out punishment left and right

I mean if goku and vegeta were pragmatics who killed their enemies in the most ruthless way possible then they would have never become anywhere near as strong as they are and thus would have ended up dying to the latter threat.

The Androids were an Earthly threat, Supreme Kai only came because Majin Buu was a cosmic threat.
