@@MoneyMindsetCoach3 and I am hoping they continue that trend. Currently I have a 2012 Honda Accord and a 2015 Toyota Venza (both excellent vehicles). But with the drivetrain technologies advancing faster and faster, will the OEM and aftermarket equivalents for replacement parts be able to sustain 20 years into the future? Stay tuned.
Great review my man. I have a 2020 X5 on my end of 5th year going into 6th. My X5 is pretty reliable except 2 XMAS ago while pulling my car out of my driveway stopped to yield to pedestrians. When coast is clear step on the peddle and car just wouldn't go. Call BWM assist to sent over a flatbed to the service center. Turned out the starting motor was done before end of the 3rd year of ownership. Dealer wind up replacing the starting motor and never had any issue since. I don't even have 10K miles at the time. So... that is CRAZY. However, I do disengage stop and go to prevent motor from overworked. LOL.

Many years ago back in early 1980s looked at a Ford Bronco. It was advertised a 5 liter engine. I thought it would be a v-8 engine. It was a straight 5 liter engine. It was ridiculous long. Wish i bought it for being a straight 5 liter engine. When only 22 years old didn't realize what it would be worth today.
Buy a 2. 5 liter engine without a turbo. Its not fast but dependable. Most engines with turbo's eventually fail. Turbo runs off of exhaust, high temperature. The intake of the turbo fins break off into the engine, because of temperature changes and blowing out the head gaskets. Wish Manufacturers put in smaller displacement engines than a turbo. Smaller displacement saves gas and can be dependable.
What do you think the reliability difference is between a c300 and an e300/e350? I know the e class is made in Germany but last c class I saw was made in South Africa.
Most all of the cars your touching on are way outside normal everyday consumers purchase range. The normal everyday person cannot afford any car over the maybe 40k range.
I bought a X1 i28 earlier this year didn’t know it would get such a low rating being from California where the gas is a fortune I went with this smaller suv upgrading from my 330i I’ve had for years, Something told me to go with the Highlander 😂
I am in germany and now i am seeing a lot more Toyota, Mazda, and Hyundai's on the road. I think they are starting to see how cars from Mercedes, BMW, and Audi are just not built as simple, reliable, and cheaper to repair
Interesting. On my country I see many of bmw ,mercedes and audi. Also I have seen many Mazda , couple of Toyota and very rarely seen a Hyundai. From german cars bmw right now is the most reliable one.
@@ECPPi purchased a formal rental 22 sorento non turbo awd.. so 1/2 warranty.. already passed .. base model so escaping all the electronic issues.. Lost a coil/injector.. 😡 but going ok now.. we will see 60,000 miles
I always seek out your views Mark, you have a style i like and appreciate, here in the UK we don’t get the American cars you feature sometimes but obviously the Euro lot we get the same ( unreliability ) you get plus the Ford offerings that are usually dumbed down ( engine wise only) due to the prohibitive cost of motoring and fuel over here. Have a great Christmas and New Year ! Paul.
There’s basically no car reliable All the cars you mentioned .. it’s like ppl will be stuck with basically a Honda or Toyota .. where is the fun in buying anything else 🤷🏽♂️
New cars these days are costing anywhere from 70k to 130k across all brands China has the upper hand now selling them less than 50k All brands need to be very careful now China will easily steal that thunder from them all but there's one thing China hasn't mastered and that's Reliability 😂
thanks mark for making videos in such a chilly weather, i have 750 Li and its v6 no turbo and its doing well , i do agree there was oil seal leakages
I'll still take Lexus/Toyota over all the others. They might not be all trouble-free, but the odds are better than other automakers
Honda and Toyota have parts for their cars going back In the 90’s!

I’m sticking with a Toyota, Honda or Mazda
indeed
I still have my Volvo since 1999
I'd take Mazda at the moment. They have made huge strides with regards to reliability
except the new xc90
Great choices 👌 👍

Excellent channel 🎉 very precise information about most reliable and least reliable cars 🚘
I love that black "old school "Lexus, great vehicles and sharp looking with style and reliability

yes indeed

What is your opinion on the all new X3 B48 engine with the mild hybrid system?
What about the 4 cylinder BMW X4? How is that engine?
Good that’s the b48 and it’s quite reliable
@@ECPP the bmw x4 with the b48, weigh around 4200 pounds - 1900 kg. That's a lot of weight for a little 4-banger engine
I love the white Lexus SUV and I agree with the 4.5🌟
Thanks Vincent. Yes there are a few nice ones on that lot.

I'm pretty sure that Sq5 also have just V6 not only turbocharged V6 and with only V6 will be more reliable
I've heard troubles with the powerboost
many

Bro what do you think of Chinese cars? Like the jetour t2 it’s like a Land Rover defender knockoff.
I think that automakers should have 7-8 speed manual transmissions, that would be a definite blast 😉 😀
You are right. The options are very limited.

I would pass completely on the VW
yes that is a good move
BMW X7 is fast, but won't last. Great coming out of the gate, but not much for stamina
Only with 40i or 30d will last
True I am not sure the longevity is built into those vehicles in my
Opinion
Kia settles is that good choice I not much for kia but like warranty

I'll give the Lexus RX 4+🌟
They are solid runners
I have noticed no single Jaguar SUV car ?!!
Well…..
i believe Mercedes fixed the earlier engine issue with the piston with newer engine design on newer models

haha, yeah not great
4.5 on a Toyota Highlander with a 2.4 Turbo???? No way Mark! Time will tell but i would never buy any toyota turbo
why? They are the better Turbos to get
I will rather stick with Mazda or Acura for used vehicles.
I have a 2011 Acura TSX just shy of 200,000 miles, runs great, looks great too, best car i have ever owned!
