The smoke from the campfires was a lovely idea! But the mangrove meeting hall below the crypt could use some more carpets/ a different floor with a pattern. It looks quite empty and blank, despite the great furniture!

Even if my brain is mushy after that redstone talk it's simply mindblowing that you can do that in minecraft and one can't express enough gratitude for spending all this time to come up with this game for us to enjoy watching hermits play it in the future but also spending even spend more time to bring us along the way to that future and explaining us how things works. Even though all I can say is thank you Tango. :)
Loving decked out progress. Maybe instead of a chandelier you could do a floating amethyst block with amethyst clusters on all the sides over the center of the table, imagine it as a magical hologram of the world that the sorcerous order uses to plot world domination from their meeting place hidden under the crypt. Anyway, the card shuffler seems so cool, really awesome to see how you're making big changes to the core game systems to make decked out the best it can be
Tango, what if you changed the “Hazard” concept to “Flux”, wherein everything in the game starts changing on you, such as routes and pathways, or maybe even objectives. It’s different enough from Clank and the names seem to pair well. Clank and Flux.
I think this idea also fits in with my comment about the mangrove wardrobe passage. "Flux" isn't as inherently negative as "Hazard". So it may be a little more random. But as one door closes, so opens another. Perhaps. I like that. And you could even add cards/effects that skew your flux to be positive. So you get more secrets revealed or traps made easier to navigate. And have other cards that "cost" flux - meaning you generate more negative flux, meaning more negative things happen, but it would be a trade off for some positive effect.
It makes me think a little bit how a casino is designed to be confusing and keep people lost and stuck inside for as long as possible. I like the idea of a maze, or labyrinth, which changes pathways every time a player walks into it, and then spits them out into a different area of the dungeon every time.
Wow pearl did a real good job with all that redstone! Tango’ss lessons last episode really paid off. Lol time-lapse music keeps changing on everyones videos lol Looks awesome Tango! Cannot wait to see the hermits play Decked-Out!
The under ground sorcerer area has a cult vibe like they are practicing witchcraft or trying to raise the dead and the floating candles are a nice touch.
The fact that you've figured out how the cards work all together is impressive. Then you throw in converting it to redstone is quite frankly amazing! I cannot wait to see Decked Out 2 get further to completion and watch the other Hermits play it.
Mind blown man... the thought process and the execution of the design is just out of this world.. i'm an engineer so i always geek out over the redstone.. always opening eyes as to the possibilities with what it can do.. keep it up man... this is going to be epic...
TANGO! THAT RED ROOM IN THE CRYPT SHOULD BE A NECROMANCER GROUP'S ROOM!! Since it's in a crypt anyway, that room would fit perfectly with a theme of supernatural stuff and skeletons. Necromancy 😈
loving how decked out is coming along this season! last decked out was actually one of the reasons i started watching you in the first place lol. the way the CPU (Card Processing Unit) works is really cool!
the brilliance and intricacy of the deck sorter/player is AMAZING! I also love the Secret Sorcerer's Den, leave it to a sorcerer to want to have their study/meeting room under an icy crypt lol. The campfire smoke under the water is also a really nice effect, kinda makes it look like a dangerous hot springs in the middle of the icy terrain. Always excited for each episode you're putting out, can't wait to see the next level!
The redstone heavy bits require a little bit of rewinding and watching again, but even then, I love having the explanation of what, how, and why it is happening
This was an amazing episoode, with a really nice balance between complex redstone (that I needed to listen to twice sometimes to follow; love it!) and really good building. The design of decked out is very on brand for you and also shows off the versatility of the different ways you build: sometimes using patterns to cover large areas(like the main hall upstairs), sometimes letting it grow & creep somewhat organically, letting your sense of aesthetic shape the room from space to space, and sometimes creating space for yourself to go detail oriented on places of interest, like the red room in the crypt. Connecting these with small clever connections to encourage other hermits to explore and feel clever & sneaky is another one of the many reasons I love watching your content.
The hidden laboratory room is a terrific addition! I think it adds a surreal twist- suddenly there are signs of civilization, but the Ravager is still bearing down on you as you race around furniture!😱
Loved your POV for the AFK trophy 😂 I watched this with my 11 yo daughter, neither of us seen the original decked out but we are looking forward to watching this and whilst you were doing your redstone explanation she said "that's amazing" ....I was lost tbf 😆 Loving your work this season, thank you
I commented this on the VOD to your stream, its about team mechanic implementation: You can easily count how many players are in a team by using a comparator counter for the number of team tokens in the buffer of the redstone. The players in a team is the number of team tokens in circulation minus the buffer. This should help with implementing team redstone mechanics
I love how much you described the Redstone. It is so cool that you're making a full on Minigame which could be a game in its own right. So excited to see how this works when it's done. ❤️

Absolutely amazing! Honestly that last room could be like a hidden necromancer chamber since there's a crypt down there! Wishing you the best on Decked Out!
Ooh! And maybe the Necromancer (a reskinned Evoker to match the mangrove theme of the room) could be awoken in stages (like a Warden) by the more "experiments" (the zombies) that you release! But awaking the Necromancer could also reward you with a good artifact!
I’m always astounded at how much work goes into Decked Out. It’s so cool to see the process, especially down to the complicated redstoney bits. You’re amazing Tango!
I know you probably see views dip when you go into the redstone. But I think I speak for alot of us when I say, it's enjoyable to see you explain the things you've created. Keep up the good work tango
One thing I realized as you were walking through with a torch is that it would be so cool if players could choose to take a single torch with them into the dungeon. No placing it, obviously, but with dynamic lighting, the idea of walking through the dark dungeon, illuminated only by the torch and the occasional light source... it just sounds amazing
Just wanted to let you know, I really appreciated the Redstone part. That was awesome - and a very nice intelligent system. I love it! ❤️ Thank you for your amazing content!
That basement Necromancer's Union Study Hall or whatever it is looks great with the mahogany and dark stonework. The floating candles are an excellent lighting solution. Thanks for showing off the redstone, too! I love that as much as the building/design work.
Hey tango! Just a suggestion but imagine a ‘sabotage’ element included into decked out, where a player can find another player’s head in the dungeon, and then if they retrieve it and submit it to a sacrificial alter deep in the dungeon, the next time that hermit (who’s head was found) plays the game they have a sabotaged run, perhaps signified by a noise or different soundtrack, and they have a forfeit (like potion of slowness or something) or the run itself is just much more deadly!
The redstone is already getting crazy! The scale of it is just unbelievable. I'm really impressed with how you managed to implement a queue system for actions, and a limitation for the number of cards processed. Will definitely try to drop by more livestream to see it more in detail! I've always been interested by redstone, but you got me invested now ahah.
i love saying i’m gunna watch the video, start. gets four minutes into it, starts doing something else, forgets about the hermitcraft video and then realise that i have to watch it again after three hours
Pearl has fully conditioned me with her time-lapse music because I usually don't watch them but I always look over to see what little slow-mo bit she's added, and when the music started I immediately looked at my phone and just watched Tango's time-lapse lmao
@@imagine_big9398 oh no, it's not that I don't like time-lapses, I'm just usually listening to hermitcraft, instead of watching, while I do other stuff. Tango, i dont know why, but this season of hermitcraft is my absolut favorite. When am outside and i get a notification of your new video a literally RUN home to watch it. Its so entertaning and i have the best time watching it. Thank you for making episodes like this for us :>
The candles are perfect for the room imo, the smoke is good too. Loving the enthusiasm for the redstone project, and overall project. You should see Zedaph's or Grian's pov wrangling the shulkers too, they had to work so hard 😄
The smoke from the campfires was a lovely idea! But the mangrove meeting hall below the crypt could use some more carpets/ a different floor with a pattern. It looks quite empty and blank, despite the great furniture!
Straight copy/paste but... In case he sees your comment and decides to check the replies.
He can make smaller bits of smoke by placing a block and a slab/trapdoor on top of or below the block. It will make them have a bit more variety.
Clank and Flux.
sounds more magical too. fits the theme.
Also if Flux is inherently "fluctuated" by card synergies, it plays off the theme of the old card game Flux.
Wow pearl did a real good job with all that redstone! Tango’ss lessons last episode really paid off. Lol time-lapse music keeps changing on everyones videos lol
Looks awesome Tango! Cannot wait to see the hermits play Decked-Out!
The under ground sorcerer area has a cult vibe like they are practicing witchcraft or trying to raise the dead and the floating candles are a nice touch.
I would love to see this room be part of one of the factions in the game, if factions end up making into the design.
I can't stop smiling! The moment with Zed was soooo wholesome! I love it!!!!
for the cards, consider attempting to make several distinct themes of cards, thus encouraging different synergies in different decks
That was the most satisfying red stone time lapse I’ve ever seen
This is wonderful. I love the smoke effect. Just what that river needed.
Love the coven meeting room. Maybe you could have a clank activated trap in the hidden stairs to make sure players can't hide there for too long
The fact that you've figured out how the cards work all together is impressive.
I get very excited seeing Tango making an Ethotrap (aka Decked Out 2).
So glad you had replay on for Zed and Grian's shenanigans! Also love seeing the progress with Decked Out, can't wait to see more of it!
Just so you know, Tango: I find the redstone talk fascinating. So, there’s at least one person who isn’t phasing out. :).
the brilliance and intricacy of the deck sorter/player is AMAZING!
I just found it amusing how much the cult room gave me Doom vibes. You're really doing great with the aesthetics here!
The hidden laboratory room is a terrific addition! I think it adds a surreal twist- suddenly there are signs of civilization, but the Ravager is still bearing down on you as you race around furniture!😱
16:50 i was like alright alright looks amazing and then i almost fell to the floor for that big room
Loved your POV for the AFK trophy 😂
I watched this with my 11 yo daughter, neither of us seen the original decked out but we are looking forward to watching this and whilst you were doing your redstone explanation she said "that's amazing" ....I was lost tbf 😆
Loving your work this season, thank you
Coming back to watch this after its been released, and its just crazy to me how far the game has come. Its mad looking at the original Lv1 Dungeon.
I commented this on the VOD to your stream, its about team mechanic implementation:
You can easily count how many players are in a team by using a comparator counter for the number of team tokens in the buffer of the redstone.
The players in a team is the number of team tokens in circulation minus the buffer.
This should help with implementing team redstone mechanics
Team Decked Out Two (TDO2)
I love how much you described the Redstone. It is so cool that you're making a full on Minigame which could be a game in its own right. So excited to see how this works when it's done. ❤️
Me: Damn... I don't think that Tango would left the replaymod recording while he's afk...
Tango: There is video evidence, Zed.
Best montage of a prank I've ever seen. I was laughting when I saw Zed's video and I couldn't wait for your pov. Simply great X'D
Absolutely amazing! Honestly that last room could be like a hidden necromancer chamber since there's a crypt down there! Wishing you the best on Decked Out!
It is absolutely incredible what you can do with Redstone in this game! Excited for Decked out 2 :D
Okay so I totally thought you were going to loose me with the redstone but I understood every single bit of it so very well done Tango!
The room below the crypts could be called the necromancer's lair. You could have silenced zombies trapped in some of the wardrobes.
The campfires are a great addition, they help bring the place to life / feel alive with movement!
Holy Canoli this is just getting so awesome each step. Amazing work on the room and the campfire also sells it. The redstone work is top notch as well
I'm absolutely here for redstone talk! Also that room looks amazing with the mangrove and stone brick
I really love the new additions. The floating candles felt like they fit really well with the style of room.
I don't think that effect can be cool because light is not 100% dark. Just a thought tho.
I love card games. So my mind with possibilities just went into overdrive.
Well done as always Tango
I Loved the floating candles! They set the mood so well and give such a cool effect. The campfires were an A+ idea as well
Just wanted to let you know, I really appreciated the Redstone part. That was awesome - and a very nice intelligent system. I love it! ❤️
Thank you for your amazing content!
Dude, that's evil, and I love it ahhaaha. Maybe a 50/50 chance thay may get that sabotaged run.
Decked Out is looking cooler and cooler each video! I really like the smoke coming from the magma blocks and the closet leading to a secret passage!!
You should ask Doc about the wireless Redstone transmission system that he set up so that you can more easily handle Redstone signals in decked out.
Great work Tango. The smoke plumes are a nice touch. Gives the room a real vibe.
The campfires look so good! And I'm so glad you had the camera running while you were AFK, lol.
The redstone so far for decked out has me so awed and I cannot wait for the final project to be done
redstone talk is why we come tango, also, the campfires are a great addition
The redstone part always gets me hyped
i love saying i’m gunna watch the video, start. gets four minutes into it, starts doing something else, forgets about the hermitcraft video and then realise that i have to watch it again after three hours
I love seeing how all the redstone works!
Tango, I cannot wait to see this when it is finished! Decked Out has to be in the top 10, maybe top 5 things ever done in Minecraft. Great work!
Pearl has fully conditioned me with her time-lapse music because I usually don't watch them but I always look over to see what little slow-mo bit she's added, and when the music started I immediately looked at my phone and just watched Tango's time-lapse lmao
Wait. Confused. You don't like time lapses in general, or just peals? And whats wrong with her timelapses?
@@imagine_big9398 oh no, it's not that I don't like time-lapses, I'm just usually listening to hermitcraft, instead of watching, while I do other stuff. But I always watch Pearl's time-lapses because she adds those extra little parts, so when Pearl's music started playing, I looked at my screen without thinking lol
Woooo, decked out redstone! I've been looking forward to this for weeks.
Also, the smokey river looks fantastic. It's like a hot spring running through a frozen landscape.
That laboratory looks awesome with that red-black color pallet as well as your started house. Also redstone is very impressive it would be a bit of a challenge for me to code that in C but you doing it in minecraft that's just awesome.
14:58 this is what makes it such a cool project: there's the world where the players live, and then there's machinery that brings that world to life.
