I know it really bugs you, but if you struggle with time management, saving all ink corrections and clean up for the end helps so much. It keeps you in the work flow and helps if there are multiple mistakes to correct. We all make mistakes, it's part of life. Thank you for sharing your great artwork and videos.

Your videos are SO worth watching. Thank you for taking your time instead of rushing through to meet Inktober deadlines. I’m glad you make your own goals. But don’t be so hard on yourself, please. You can change your goals whenever you want to whatever works for you. Your illustrations are gorgeous, elaborate, and large. Of course they will take a lot more time than most of what is produced by others in this challenge.
I haven’t worked with ink much and find the real-time footage to be quite the eye-opener😮. So time-consuming! But what a fabulous result in the end. 👏🏼 ❤

I so appreciate your approach. 2020 as a Healthcare essential worker inktober saved me. I didn't every day make a finished piece but I sketched something. It helped me find peace in that horrible time (I was actively dealing with positive patients). And helped me find my way back to art.
Love both drawings, but the second is my favorite. It reminds me of a Tarot card and is fairly begging for color.
Also, despite the many times I've watched you sketch / ink/ paint? I literally never get tired of it. You're genuinely that soothing and wonderful to watch. You're immensely talented, and I'd buy your art in a heartbeat.

You don't know how comforting it was to hear you say you're easily influenced by seeing other artists using new (to you) products and rushing off to buy them... I've lost count of the times I've done exactly that! 😍

The second piece looks like it's the story of Judith and the head of Holofernes - not sure if you ran across this at all, but it's one of my favorite Klimt paintings (not that yours resembles his whatsoever, they just seem to refer to the same story!). It's a popular subject, for good reason! I enjoyed your video and watching your inking, it's very soothing and inspirational as well. I love your style, it's very iconic, especially with the angles in the hair and detailed lines. I can definitely see the woodcut style in your art. A joy to watch!

love and admire your art style so much. i wonder if it would be considered as copying if i made similar border as the first one you made in my own art?! i remember seeing this type of borders in the old school illustrations quite a bit too.

I think, in general, one way to keep Inktober (and other art challenges) from being so daunting is to not post every drawing we do online, which takes some of the pressure off feeling judged. The main goal is to improve one's skills and keep to a regular drawing schedule, right?

Hi, love your videos! I'm wondering how do you transfer from your detailed pencil sketch to the clean and light pencil sketch to ink on top of?

I have those two sets in my cart to buy and i kept thinking those sketches looked familiar, i wanted them so that i can practice my control, it isnt what it used to be 10 years ago lol, easiest way to lose you artistic edge...have a kid and stop doing art cause your partner sucks lol
