I love her Exfolikate, so this seems like something I would try, especially since the price is so much more reasonable than the Excolikate is!

Hey, pretty girl. This sounds promising. Thanks for the excellent review. You are wise to pay attention to skin care now. I wish I had done a better job at caring for my skin in my 30s. Your skin is beautiful and you are glowing! - xx, Carla

This sounds great for sensitive skin. Good Genes doesn’t irritate my skin but I only use it 1-2x a week. The DE TLC I only use it 1x week. However, I have tried from the Ordinary mandelic acid 10% + ha, ph 3.5-3.7 and had no irritation.

I loved your review once again! Thanks for investigating the PH level! When I first heard about this product I kept wondering what it was reminding me of and then it clicked! It reminded me of a more expensive version of The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Solution Toner! Oh and even Pixi Glow Tonic which I suspect The Ordinary kinda duped! Lol! Each company’s doing their version. Lol! Granted The Ordinary’s only using one acid at 7% but at a PH of 3.6 as compared to Kate’s at 4.2. Probably making it as effective or more than Kate’s. But who knows because Kate’s using a variety of exfoliants your skin is getting slightly different levels and ways of exfoliation which actually may turn out to be a better and more elegant approach! Hmmm? And TO uses Tasmanian Pepperberry and Aloe to calm irritation whilst Kate employs honey, green tea and a peptide to brighten and calm. TO employs proteins which kind of work like peptides. So both are so similar in approach but using different ingredients per categories. But TO’s is C$8.70 whilst Kate’s is C$75. Lol! It’s so great that we have so many options at different price points!! 😀

Due to the point system, I buy almost exclusively at Ulta. So finding good acids at Ulta is important girl me. I'd love to know about good acids there. I've been using mild acids for awhile...I'd like to find something like good genes at Ulta.

I didn't know that flower essence was the perfume! I assumed it was a nice natural ingredient. Why out perfume in such a product? Or in any facial product for that matter. I'm a Good Genes girl owing to my resilient skin but had this been a little stronger I may have bought it. Thanks Lauren, xxx 💕💕💕xxx

Great review, meaningful and thorough. The ph is key. Good example is the Good Genes...while we rack our heads going why can't this be duped?...well perhaps that is why? I am going to add this. I am used to exfoliation. However I think this sounds like a great maintenance product. I just started, well on #4 of #8 40% lactic peels. I do think that ph is key to the powerhouse Good Genes is. Oh you are expecting? Still listening lol. Congratulations!

Love that Sex in the City episode (I love them all). I use FAB’s Skin Lab Resurfacing Liquid 10% AHA, as well as their Facial Radiance Pads. The pads are super gentle. I also use Paula’s Choice Advanced Pore-Refining Treatment 4% BHA. From The Ordinary, I use their Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% and the AHA 30% + 2% BHA Peeling Solution. One thing that I do which is beneficial, when I use the mask (the peeling solution), I use an acid neutralizer afterwards right before I rinse it off. It’s the Chemical Peel Neutralizer from QRxLabs, which I had learned about from a Wayne Goss video. They’re a super affordable skincare line. It really does help though, and I think it only costs around $11 or $12.
I’m so happy that you posted this video, Lauren. I haven’t heard of it, and would love to try it out.
    Big thanks, girlie🍃🌸.

Very thorough video! I appreciate that you went through the texture and application, and especially the ingredients and pH. I’m all about it. 😉
I LOVE Good Genes. I alternate between that and Retin-A every other night. I recently purchased the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow serum and have used it in place of Good Genes a few times. It is SO good! But of course my interest was piqued when I saw that KS came out with this product. Since it isn’t as strong as the other products, I’ll probably just stick with them, but I obviously appreciate your review and info. I have dry skin, as well, so everything in the video was relatable! (Your skin looks so beautiful, by the way!) 😊

Yarely Avalos Really the only thing I’ve been omitting is retinols. There has been no links to birth defects with AHAs. Always ask your doc though 👍🏻

You’re so smart to be taking such great care of your skin now:) I wish so much I had of paid as much attention to my skin in my 30’s as I am now! I had 4 kids by the time I was 30 and was basically just trying to survive when I was 35 lol 😬😳😊 Also we didn’t have UA-cam back then and not as much access to the type of info available now. I would say the past 3-4 years I have been obsessed with focusing on my skincare and researching active ingredients. As a result my skin is looking better than ever:) I’m always looking for new things to try so thank you for sharing🥰
    Have a beautiful weekend 💕
