4:28 _"Now Pizza time (Pizza time!)"_ 🦊🤘🍕
    Welcome back to the Foxhole🦊🤘🔥
Cool to see you're back with this suggestion to follow your BM journey, just like here it was the ender for almost every show at the World Tour 2023/2024 and everyone loved to have fun with this one such recently at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, they did a fun interview about it and you can see they were excited with Slipknot returns, they were very supportive during early era or Metal Resistance chapter (that's the title inside the lore), also they play this last month at San Francisco as part of the Babyklok Tour along with Dethklok and DragonForce were there playing too, another supportive band since BM beginning career and also involved in the album version of this song as well some live collabs together around those years.
"Road Of Resistance" is a power/speed metal song, it's one of their most epic anthems and the album version got the guitar arrangements made by Sam Totman and Herman Li from DragonForce. It's all about facing your own path without looking back.
This was part of the Trilogy Of 2015, live at New Year Fox Festival - Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, by this time their fame was already high due to viral success on YT of Gimme Chocolate! MV, people from all over the world attended this live concert in Japan, and 20K souls witnessed this epic moment.
With only 15 and 17 years old this moment will be forever remember when they're performing this song to reminds them all the support they got from their fans no matter where they go, either a small or big stages.
The Kami Band here are real and magnificent set of elite musicians, they were sent to help the girls with the metal sound, they rotate so probably you won't see some of them in all live concerts (especially the guitarists).
    They are:
    - Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording some albums.
    - Takayoshi Ohmura, god of guitar, he's Míkio' Fujioka's pupil (another beloved Kami Band guitarist who sadly passed away) and a prodigy child, you'll see his recognizable pink guitar.
    - BOH, god of bass, he's the bald one and not only got amazing talent but his fun way to enjoy reminds me Flea from RHCP.
    - Hideki Aoyama, god of drums, comes from a family of expert drummers, and his father was very famous in Japanese music scene.
At the end of their shows they always said "We are BabyMetal!" with the crowd, to make them sure that they're part of this show and project too, is a line borrowed from X-Japan saying it at live concerts too.
Next suggestion to enjoy another SuMetal solo along with a Kami Band intro:
    - Rondo Of Nightmare with Mischief Of Metal Gods Intro live at Budokan 2014.
Stay tuned next May 23, another special new collab along with Electric Callboy is coming, they released a cool teaser but don't look for any music snippet yet.
    See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Yes todays normal closer. They prepare andvunify the audience beforehand and then they no longer ask what to sing or how loud you sing. You simply recognice minimal signs and you sing for your life.

Great reaction - "We are ... BABYMETAL!"🦊To answer your question, yes they do still play this in most of their concerts, and yes usually (but not always) as the concert finale - just as it was here.
This video was from January 2015 at the Saitama Super Arena. Su-metal was 17, Yuimetal and Moametal only 15 and that was over 20,000 people completely under their control.
Even at that age Su-metal had so much power she just needed to spread her arms (like a little Japanese Moses since you said) for the walls of death to open. At this particular concert a reporter in the balcony said he counted something like 21 mosh pits.
Good spot with Su bringing the crowd back on time after having them sing it and them getting slightly ahead of themselves. Su has said one of her favourite memories was walking across the bridge and the crowd all singing the song ... this was only the third time they had played it live - first time was in London in December 2014 - nobody had ever heard it but the crowd all sang it as if they knew it for ages - and at a small gig with a limited number of fans, so this was the arena debut for the song.
This was at the end of a 90 minute concert - they had been keeping that same energy up without any drop in quality for the whole time. It is what they do - they appreciate people have often paid a lot of money and travelled a long way to see them, they never give anything less than 100% for every song at every concert, whether that is one of their big arena concerts in Japan or at the many various sized venues as they tour the world.
About the song itself - 'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way.
It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow.
Funny you should mention DragonForce - Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song (it is the only one they were involved in) and recorded the guitars for the album version. They have said they made this more technical and faster than most of their own songs thinking they would never have to play it live ... and that they had to practice hard when they did perform it with BABYMETAL at an awards show in London later in 2015.
This was the Kami Band of course. In this concert they were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars with BOH on his 6 string bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums.

There are many videos of this song, but this one is the best. This stage is a video of the encore of the one-man show. The reason why it's the best is that the stage structure is wonderful, but above all, the performers of each instrument in the backing "KAMI Band" are wonderful. The band is now legendary. Please listen carefully.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。The crowd involvement (mosh pit, call & response, chant etc.) occurs wherever they go on this planet. This anthemic song was played in almost all of BM shows and the audience's reaction is always similar to what you guys saw today. I, a 68-year-old Japanese guy had to jump into the circl pit, of course 🤣
In your video, Su shouted some words at 08:54 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She has shouted it occasionally since then and when she does, it is with her friendly smile and mild voice that I love 😄

Dynamite reaction guys. This pretty much required viewing. Love how you picked up on Su's pro crowd tempo correction. She made that flawless. The Dragonforce influence is totally to be expected. Sam Totman and Herman Li did the guitar arrangements and played them on the original album release. Amazing what pros the girls were at this stage of there careers. Su (17) and Moa & Yui 15 each. There are plenty of folks that age that worry about standing in front of a school class and reading a paper! Great job once again.

11:35 love that you picked up on that. I can't imagine being 16 and being like "ok 20,000 people, we're all going to do THIS now" to get them all back on the right tempo for the band to come back in.

    Great reaction, thanks!
That little detail, when Su-metal corrects the crowd's chants tempo, defines how professional and confident she is. She just turned 17 three weeks before this concert took place and she was already a seasoned front woman. Funnily enough she had performed at the Saitama Super Arena before, in 2008, with her former girl group when she was just 10 years old. The SSA is the larger indoor arena in Japan (Tokyo Dome is even larger but it's technically an indoor baseball stadium). They are hosting a festival called FOX_FEST next week at the same venue.

The 2021 Budokan & 2023 PIA Arena versions of RoR have the inspirational lyrics subbed in English, but I'm glad you chose the 2015 Saitama Super Arena one which really captured lightning in a bottle. This particular segment was the climax of their Legend 2015 gig (Jan 10 2015) which featured an exhilarating 15-song set (including a 3-song finale), the girls were still in their mid-teens, RoR wasn't even officially released yet, yet the sold-out 20,000 crowd knew how to reciprocate.
BM was making insane strides with their live act after embarking on their world tour in 2014. Literally concert after concert, large or small venue, full or short setlist, they & the Kami Band would ferociously power through their repertoire like there was no tomorrow. Thankfully, most of their shows were pro-shot for retail or broadcast, so fans could relive their growth vicariously over & over again.

Su-metal's hands parting gesture is something she does during the intro at every performance to call for the Wall of Death.
Actually, as mosh pits go, Babymetal's are extremely friendly. Usually everyone is just running around smiling and high fiving each other. There isn't really any aggro in the pit because Babymetal shows just don't have that kind of energy; they feel much more like a party or celebration than a fight. If you've never experienced a mosh pit before, Babymetal is probably a good place show to try it for the first time.
RoR is played at almost all of their live shows, usually as the finale of the main set before the encore. So if you go to see them, there is a high chance you will get to see this song.
