I have loved you and your videos since you first started way back in your bakery. I have to admit that I miss your nonvegan recipes as I am not vegan. I have all your ebooks and your vegan book. I enjoy everything you make and thank you for all your hard work.

Lotsa Italians, well Sicilians, specifically, where I'm from and I so miss this cake, which is found on many bakery and restaurant menus here. Thanks so much for veganizing the recipe and for posting it here, Gretchen!

I love how you decorated this cake, it reminded me of a Classic European bakery I once went to. I can only imagine the orange, chocolate, rum and creamy flavors all together. I will give it a try and thanks for posting the recipe!

My mom worked in cake decorating and you just reminded me of her favorite saying. Cake decorators get to eat their mistakes! This video is wonderful. Never heard of this cake style before. I'm in love with all the flavors you use here, but I worry I'll eat the tofu ricotta chocolate chip filling and the marzipan before assembling the cake. Extra protein is always great.
Thanks to Olive Nation for the discount, as your previous promotion of them had me buying many of their flavorings. I want to try those mini chips, vanilla paste, and almond paste for sure now.
Your skills especially with flubs make us viewers feel like trying this Plant Based Masterpiece.

Congratulations on the old-school Wilton piping style in the intro. It's a refreshing change from the endless drip cakes that have taken over YT.

Beautiful cake... and vegan ricotta filling looks so delicious 😋 that I think it is need to be doubled because it is hard to stop testing (aka just eating by the spoon🤣). Thank you for one more wonderful vegan cake!!!

So I was watching this and being like "wtf this isn't a cassata cake at all.". Then after googling I learned the one I know and love is a local Cleveland variant made in Little Italy. Had no idea. You should definitely try it. Instead of marzipan and ricotta cheese, the filling is strawberries and custard. It's sooooo good.

That piping technique reminds me of the Henna art I'd see at Indian weddings, you should try it out next time you do some sunbathing, I'm sure you'd rock it! (Add some essential oil to the mix for some aromatherapy, I like lavender it mellows me out) Happy Easter! (Basant in India) I hope all your dreams bloom with vibrant colors

So is that what that us on top of the coconut water? It’s coconut oil? Interesting! This is why I started buying coconut cream and I don’t know if they have it where you’re at? I think you’re in Florida? but here in California you can go to even Walmart or target and they sell coconut cream and that’s all it is it’s not coconut milk or coconut water it’s actually just the cream of the coconut and they put it in a can so you can just buy it that way and I have to worry about all the oil forming at the top or anything like that just so you know for future reference

There's no way. I thought you were maybe 35-40.
Folks, this is why you need to go vegan today.
