- In this video I give you guys me installing my new door speakers in my Chevy avalanche. This was actually my first time installing door speakers on any of my vehicles but actually was pretty easy so now if my once DOA Chevy avalanche actually has some quality aftermarket speakers from kicker audio but I will let you watch the video and see for yourself! Somone had previously replaced those speakers. Pyle is a cheap after-market Walmart car stereo brand and not the factory speakers that usually come with any Chevy Avalanche. Factory speakers would have been OEM made by Bose, Pioneer or Panasonic.
I have an 03 North Face Edition so it came with the Bose speakers and I just got an Audi at the 2020 Q3 and the speakers in the Chevy are better. My goal is to restore the cladding dark flat black wrap the top in a dull army green blackout everything and put an entertainment system where my CD player is now. It's got a 175,000 Mi on it I've had it since 2017 it's been paid off for like three years. I joined a couple of groups on Facebook and there are people that have Chevys that are kissing 400,000 MI. So I'm definitely keeping mine, I'm in the tricky spot of once your vehicle becomes 20 years old you can't have full coverage insurance on it until it becomes 25 years old and then you can get Classic Auto Insurance. I got the car cuz I didn't want to be hit by somebody and then suddenly need to replace a car at the snap of your fingers. I really appreciate all of you guys uploading these videos it's a little harder as a chick I just got screwed over by a garage that charge me $300 to replace the exterior driver side handle. I swear to God if you have a pair of boobs and you walk into anything that has to do with cars only thing people see is a Payday.

darn so close for me.....i'm having trouble getting the electric lock stub into the hole on the plastic support when you drop the door panel down.....
i'm replacing a broken outside door handle.......got it all off.....back together is another story.....lolol
oh wait.....i should upgrade the speakers while the panel is in the driveway where i threw it in frustration......:)

The speakers are the Kicker CSC654 but the one he showed is a 2017 model and they latest one is the 2019 model

Good video but please, do NOT ever use these fucking heat shrink connectors, they're utter shit. Definitely not reliable. I've had so many issues with these on some motorcycles I built, I threw all of them in the trash. All fashion soldering and heat shrink is the only way...

Slow the fuck down...get the door panel off was what I looked for
If you want an even better sound, do the factory amp bypass. Its cheap and simple and u won't regret it

Should've used boom matt baffles to keep the water off of the speaker. That's a big problem with GMC and Chevy.
