The problem is you gotta be able to show your vocal range. Basket case isn't that hard to sing despite being a kickass song, which is why nobody turned.

Este gajo cantou bem. Já conheço este tipo de banda há muito, e mesmo com aquele inglês esquisito e algumas entradas malfeitas, cantou bem e em momentos parecia o Billie Joe. Para estes programas só precisas de cantar uma música com "ritmo moderno" e ter uma banda atrás que já passas.

The reason they didn’t turn is because he sounds way too much like billie which implies he doesn’t have any sort of personality cause he’s too busy trying to sound like someone else, plus the fact if he goes through it will be the same 4 chord pop punk garbage that died years ago. There’s your answer, it may be harsh but sometimes truth hurts. Yes it was good, but it’s been done before and it doesn’t take a lot of talent in that style of music, i mean the dude probably has no diversity in taste and isn’t even able to sing in different styles.

Televisão portuguesa e os programas que contém são completamente medíocres, tal como as pessoas que os apresentam/representam. A sorte da televisão portuguesa de hoje em dia é o facto da maior parte da população de Portugal ser idosa e não ter acesso a mais nada a não ser esta merda de tv shows.
E depois com júris que são cantores com talento perto de zero para a música, não têm a humildade de admitir quando aparece alguém melhor que eles, isto porque eles próprios são inseguros e não têm confiança no seu próprio trabalho (eu também não teria se fosse a eles, mas fazem o melhor que podem, ninguém os pode julgar). Mas ao menos que ganhem humildade para admitir quando alguém melhor que eles aparece, parece que têm medo de ficar sem o seu lugarzinho na cadeira.
E depois está lá uma loira (juri) que nem sei o que ela é em relação à musica que apenas está lá para imitar a maioria (dos juris), porque ela percebe tanto de música como eu de agricultura.
gostei da audição e acho que merecia ter passado, epá mas acho que está demasiado colado ao original, tudo tudo igual prejudicou o a meu ver..mesmo assim devia ter passado a mais que nao seja por escolher esta extraordinaria cançao que eu ouvi milhares de vezes na minha adolescência..és saudavel da cabeça rapaz e gostei do original continua nao desistas boa voz!

Muy buena interpretación, pero elegir Green Day en la voz? Mala idea. Aunque canta bien lamentablemente son canciones (vocalmente hablando) planas, no demuestran todo tu potencial vocal y por eso fue que los jueces no lo tomaron.

He should have started singing ‘ someone turn around’ to the tune of ‘ when I come around ‘ immediately
no one turned around because Greenday and that emo punk style of singing isn't that good and doesn't take that much training. not just that billy doesn't show of that much of a huge vocal range. most of the time the judges turn around because when a singer hits a really high note or generally something really impressive. the cover was good but wasn't the right song to play
