My uncle absolutely LOVED this series. He died back in 2016. I never played an MGS game, not until after he passed. I played through Every. Single. One. Just for him. It was my mission. And I have to say: Nothing compares to this series. Nothing. I loved every single part of it. The story of Big Boss and Solid Snake will live with me forever. I love you Uncle Doug. May you rest not as ashes. But as Diamonds. This story, this legend, is ours. Thank you for everything. Sorry I didn't play these games sooner.

This song is a masterpiece, there are parts from Peace Walker theme to Sons of Liberty theme. So if you want to refresh your MGS memories this song is just perfect.

But even more than that, thanks to Skull Face, Zero was put in a coma.
If Zero was not in a coma, perhaps he could have reconciled with Big Boss (Which his tape seem to suggest he wanted to do), turned back the Patriots, and stopped his machine before it got started. The AI never would have taken over, and the War Economy would never appear.
The Snakes could have lived normal lives.
The world would be left as it is.

I see some of you wondering if this soundtrack was used in the official game. No, it was not. I created it without any affiliation with the creators of the game. I felt the series should at least have the full theme in all of it's glory played... One last time.
Completely agreed. This song, as with its predecessors, makes the series feel more complete. Music plays a pivotal role in Metal Gear Solid, and the common theme in this is part of its soul, if you ask me. Thank you for this masterpiece.

@@looseemonnn1973 bigboss eventually let venom die because he would be dangerous with that much power and he wanted to cheat death so he could work with zero in the shadow. Solid worked for a traitor but he didnt know anything at all. He didnt even knew he was a clone untill he killed venom. Bigboss wasnt killed by anybody, his body double was, aka venom. Bigboss was still alive in the "secret" ending cutscene of mgs4, the last chronological game of the story

MGSV wasn't the game I wanted it to be. But at least it came out. I've sunk over 100 hours since launch day, where I bought it the second the store opened on that morning. This game is still my GOTY for 2015, and I think I'll still be playing it for years to come. It'll be heralded as a classic in a few years, like MGS2. Just wait for the anger to subside.
Thank you, Mr. Kojima. For this masterpiece of a game. This may be the final Metal Gear game you make, but the legacy left there will make this series be remembered forever. Thank you for all the hype in the months leading up to the game's launch. Thank you for the previous entries. The inclusion of the classic MGS theme at the end is a stroke of genius. That theme has been absent from the forefront of the series since MGS3, but here it makes triumphant, final return.

I honestly feel like I'm one of the only ones who actually preferred Sutherland as big boss, I feel like his look and voice fit the tone better and David as solid snake is how it should be
if only they used his voice more
I felt for the facial structure of mgsv big boss, Sutherland fit more, but if his head and faced were like they used to be id go with david
I love David Hayter but Big Boss and Solid Snake were different entities. I know he's a clone of Big Boss but the other clones all had different voices
