Sometimes we have to wonder; how much does the guide suffer when we keep on dumping his voodoo doll in the lava just to farm a few more Wall of Flesh goodies?

I thought about using comments to indicate the amount of dislikes, however this is inaccurate because trolls would like the comment just for the sake of it.

Something that really makes me feel bad is how in hardmode the next guide to arrive says

Fun fact: for the clip where the Guide goes on a date with the Nurse, the original idea was to have the Nurse frightened when the Guide explodes in front of her. Then from the wiki I learned that lore-wise the Nurse and the Arms Dealer have romantic interest towards each other.
Sooooo I realized the clip could be bit more "F*CKED UP", and this is the final result.

Now I kinda like the idea that you can give Obsidian Pots to an NPC to avoid dying by being thrown in lava. It would be a fun prank to play at servers.

fun fact: the first time my guide died at a goblin invasion i legit felt bad (i didnt know npcs could respawn at the time) and i also felt bad when i learnt that i had to sacrifice one of my favourite npcs into lava

As someone who just played terraria
I must say that the guide is very helpfull and i dont get why many people hate him
if you haven’t been playing for years, and don’t want to check the wiki every 2 minutes, then the guide is a very useful NPC
I was expecting all the NPCs to be dead, since throwing multiple dolls into lava will kill other random NPCs

He is actually very usefull for beginners after 1.4. They made him have a tip for basically everything: bosses, npcs, events and more. His crafting menu is also cool if you don't want to go to the wiki

Obsidian skin doesn't give you trash slot immunity
Now the question remains, when the guide runs out of potions, if no more dolls are added then will he immediately burn because the dolls are still in the lava or will the doll disintegrate rendering the dolls useless
