Tutorial For USB Port Repair or Replacement on a Garmin Nuvi 40LM, 42LM, 50LM, 52LM, 2598LMT, & More

Most of the time you only need to refresh the broken soldering joints on your old Mini USB Port. However, in some cases, you have to completely replace it with a new one. The new USB port can be purchased from Aliexpress but you have to make sure it is the right one that matches your old one. Since it is different in every model of Garmin I didn't put a link for it.
