Wow! exactly what I was searching for. An etrike that would give me that stability and confidence I need to go to the supermarket when my car does not want to take me or my driving license is taken away from me!! I am not searching for speed, but range. Rosemary, Steve, so many thanks for showing this awesome etrike. I will search for it in the internet and, .if Covid-19 allows me ... and i am able to travel to UK I will stop at your store to rent it. Many thanks to both of you, for showing the features and the whole video. Regards from Florida, USA.
Be careful man....trikes are so unstable at corners - especially when you are standing so high. Theses trikes are only stable in a straight line. When you turn you must be wary. Personally I think the low down recumbent style tricycle is the way forward. Fyi I just bought a delta style trike 6 months ago
@@mrmoralman1 Thank you, Zahid for your advice, however, as another comment shows, 2 wheels in the front tells me that these are more stable and, myself, being old, I do not search any bike for ONLY speed. No. I need it to take me to the supermarket. Tell me about your experience with yours or any other you know. If the 2 wheels were in the back and the unexperienced rider was a young or non mature enough adult, certainly at a fast curve, fell and hurt him/herself, am I right?
@@clusa3721 hey, Fyi I use my delta tricycle [ 2 wheels at rear] approx 10miles per day. I think you have a point. My tricycle rear wheels lift up all the time [constantly] when typical maneuvering town streets and roads. A weight in the back helps - but you are right - realistically and practically I have to completely lean my whole body to the respective side I'm turning to ie literally off my seat leaning. If not you will fall off. I have never fallen off my trike - but it's a constant risk as one rear wheel Wil often lift up. A 40+ female friend tried my delta trike and fell off constantly when turning. It was not an easy bicycle for her to ride - She did not like it - it's not natural. I have read too that 2 wheel at front [tadpole trike] are more stable - I think go with that - or try it 1st to confirm if poss. My tricycle is real good for long straight roads and carrying loads. But turning is actually an annoying leaning exercise on the whole body even at low speed. To maintain control you are desperate to lean. On the whole - I do not recommend a 2 wheel rear delta trike for what you require it for - stability. Tbh turning is more natural on a standard bicycle than a delta trike! A normal bike you naturally lean into corners. A delta trike you HAVE to make to the effort to lean, then find the right amount of lean - its a hassle in my opinion unless you like playing around with that sort of thing. If you watch some HPV racing/championship vids - you see some delta trikes and how the riders have to lean in corners. Looks crazy, but loads of fun. Again I'm saying generally - a damn heavy heavy loaded delta tricycle handles great, almost on par with a normal bicycle - but who wants to practically carry a constant weight all the time? This Etnnic is probably the style to go for. Im guessing they are not as stable as a low down recumbent tadpole trike - but I'm sure much more stable than a delta trike. Etnnic looks real easy to get on and off compared to low down recumbent tadpole too. Very important if you are 'old' [or as I like to say, 'better'] If I try any other trikes - will let you know
without the leaning feature (front end) you have to go very slow around corners! or else it will flip and our you will fall off. and even to go fast in a strait line your taking a risk since one small move on the bars sets the wheels in a turing direction- those things need at least a "steering dampiner".
The essence of a trike with two front wheels is that one can go round corners faster and with enhanced stability. EG a Morgan 3 wheel sports car This design does NOT offer that in any way. In fact it seems much more dangerous to corner than a trike with one front wheel.
I would like to get one. I am in Miami, Florida. It is very important, please give us some information on how go about the purchase of this exact bike. Any information is appreciated 😉
Look at the new lectric trike. It has special safety features that none other has. And cost half of similar models. They are the first to have rear wheels that can spin independently!!!!
Hello, I am hesitating between this and the Di blasi R34 for my daughter who has reduced mobility. I would be interested to know which model looks more stable and is more comfortable to drive. She is 155cm tall and will need toe clips to pedal. In my city I cannot see and try before buying, and they are expensive products. If you can advise me which model looks better. Thanks.
Hi Jose, We way prefer the Ethnnic to the Di blasi. Having the two wheels at the front make it feel more stable. I can't find the minimum and maximum leg measurement on their website, but you can use the diagram at the bottom to work out if the trike would fit your daughter - etnnic.com/en/folding-2-0-2/. If you live in the UK, I can do a bit of research and see if we can find someone with the trikes near you. Rosemary - Sheffield Cycling 4 All
@@SheffieldCycling4All Thanks for answering. I live in Valencia (Spain), and around here the bike shops do not have tricycles on display, it seems that they take up too much space. I'm going to stick with etnnic, they seem good quality. All the best.
We don't sell this trike. We hire it for free to people living in South Yorkshire, UK. You could google the trike and look at their distributers and ask them. :-)
Other way around. You wouldn't need a car if you had the right trike for you. You can then get exercise as well as transport, so getting fitter and reducing your emissions :-)

Merry Christmas and great to see this brand and type of trike on these shores....thank you for taking the time to video this demonstration

thankyou for the demo. very informative.
A trike with front wheel turning wheels is crazy. Its hard to unfold and fold back.
Look brilliant i want one for riding in the cold ice snow without falling off..:)

Perfectly stable, you have to move your body to go around a bend at speed just like riding a QUAD
@@ianmangham4570Quads with handlebars are SUICIDE machines
Well said. These tri cycles are a high priced, unstable, dangerous gimmick.
