I've run my 340's both in Super Stock and street engines at 34 degrees total advance. It's the sweet spot for LA engines with stock heads. I've been doing that since 1971.
The motor needs a little more dialing in but, so far I’m happy. The 67 has really grabbed my attention as a favorite for sure, got a few plans for it over the winter. Overhaul the front end, add disc brakes, etc. She just got a locker and new gears this week.
@@agatemaster5706 I hope to get on my 67 Belvedere soon, it's getting a 400 ci big block, a built 727 and pair of GT45 turbos! Of course it will need a Dana 60 out back. My burnout car!

The 360 sounds good now! Nice and snappy! 67 Plymouth B bodies are one of my favorites!
