I thought of this a while back, was curious as to how clean of a cut could be made without harming the bucking; never ended up trying it. Definitely going to try this on a few Lonex buckings, awesome video.

It definitely works well on most buckings. I've been a fan of doing this mod for a few years now. Always seems to provide awesome results. Also, if you do a wide cut only leaving two little bumps on each side, pair it with a flat hop bucking. It'll have the workings of the BB centering W-Hold, and the additional backspin potential of a flathop, for heavier BBs.

Snap bro ! You are being ingenious here, thanks so much I have not thought of it but will definitely try it as I have many buckings lying around :)

I received it from my sponsor Firestorm Systems. You can get one at www.firestormsystems.com when a new batch is made, and put back in stock.

Good god, carbon fiber cylinder seem so completely pointless, and a downgrade from metal, not an upgrade. What a waste of effort.

Gets just as good of airseal as the of the top-of-the-line Japanese stuff. And yeah carbon fiber is is weaker than steel. But you don't have to worry about durability of a cylinder unless you plan on stepping on it, or hitting it with a hammer lol. Main advantage is heat dissipation. Metal cylinders get pretty warm when you're firing a lot of full-auto, example: squad support weapon. Prolonged heat can cause deformation to the O-ring and the heat can also cause your lube to become more "liquidy" making the lube shoot out of your nozzle and into your barrel. Basically the heat makes the lube in your cylinder not want to stay in your cylinder. So I'd say heat-dissipation is the best reason for this cylinder other than looks.

If it didn't work for you then there's another variable within your system making something go wrong. I've been using V-buckings and V-mods in quite a few guns throughout my whole 10-year airsoft "carrer". They're definitely accurate as long as you have everything else tuned properly, as you should.
