My favorite line from this book comes when he's returned to Spain and is speaking with God and says he could have gone without being beaten in front of the pyramids. And the wind simply replies, then you would have never seen the pyramids.

It helped me to decide to pursue my dreams instead of material things or people (girlfriend). Then, the universe provided me with all I needed to keep moving forward; things and people. I LOVE the moral of the story “we give up on our dreams too easily, yet the universe is always ready to help us fulfill them”. Great job, my friend!

Hi Jakob, I swear by the book and have used it a lot in my life experience. Even if you cant use it for your benefit the fiction read is very enjoyable. I have yet to come across a book like the alchemist that is so mystical and magical for adult readers :).
That's actually the best part, Jakob - it seems that a 20 year-old knows more about life than "adults". Kinda makes you wonder how you measure "life experience" - by years of being physically present on Earth or by amounts of things you've actually "experienced" in life :)
