Hey, Murray. I remember years back stumbling across your film and being completely captivated by it. Carts of Darkness has more heart and character than 98% of popular media, or whatever is streaming these days. I return to your doc now and again for a rewatch and this time I saw you commenting that you have some more content planned. I am eagerly awaiting seeing what else you put out! Regards from Rhode Island, -Michael
Big Al has tremendous charisma and made that documentary great... if you can find people like Big Al (they are rare) then all your movie's will succeed.
Dude, I laughed, I cried, and I forwarded Carts of Darkness to anyone I could. It was a fantastic film and I’m glad you found the strength (and funding!) to get it made. I live in Portland down in the US and it’s wild how they’ve managed to dehumanize house less folx to the point where they’re treated like an infestation. This film has the exact opposite vibe.
COD is simply amazing especially since it's such a different perspective (I'm from the UK) thank you for your work, i've never seen anything like it - or that good either
Very motivating stuff! Great to see some behind the scenes stuff to a really well done documentary, and to see that you're active and uploading right now! I almost skipped over Carts, shuffling through my reccomended videos, but i was strapped in right from the beginning and am so glad it led me down a rabbit hole of your work.
Great to see this Murray. Have seen CoD 3 times now, just seems to call me back every so often. It's the type of documentary I love - gritty and authentic. I feel like too many documentaries these days are about glitzy production values to the point where the story being told becomes secondary. CoD never loses sight of the subjects and brings their humanity tight up close to the viewer. Really appreciate the behind the scenes look into your life and motivation. Keep on truckín!
Carts Of Darkness was insane. I got it as a recommended video and was like what the fuck is this?? I watched the little preview and saw who I learned after watching the full documentary was "Big Al" flooring down a hill on a shopping cart. that alone got my attention so I clicked on the video and gave it a chance. Learning about your struggle and how you relate to their struggle was inspiring to say the least. Really amazing work man. I'm kinda pissed at you now though, I can't stop clicking all your subsequent videos now :[ hahahah.
I'm Really glad you're sharing all this. I wasn't aware of your UA-cam channel until a few days ago when it came up in my recommended. I have probably watched COD 4 times within the past few years!
You are so articulate abs amazing!! I found your Carts of Darkness and absolutely love it! So I looked you up and now watching this. I was so moved in that film, I was enveloped in nostalgia, crying with happiness...I use to be homeless all thru my younger years and have actually used carts myself with my street family and friends and raced in carts and things while collecting bottles!! I love photography and use to film things myself. I'm going to be watching right down ur page im so impressed!! God bless ur excellent eye for things!! Thank u
God bless you Murray I meant it sat here watching your videos in my own self pity. You never give up. you give me energy like a reptile needs sunlight. Please make another film its what your born to DO! ✌️
Wow, my dad's favorite was Clint, and therefore im obsessed, naturally! There's so many syncs with us!! I'm also an artist and my mother was an architect... it was like every few things I related to!! Love the good the bad and the ugly so much my dogs name was Tuco!

I have watched Carts of Darkness for 4 times now. It is a very in-depth and well done documentary. There is just something about it that makes it so engaging. I am glad that you did not give up on obtaining a Grant for production. Murray, do you happen to teach film making or directing? Your craft and talent is outstanding!!
Thank you for reaching out. I do not teach film but I give talks occasionally, I’ve been involved with other fine arts recently and you can view my work at www.walletmoth.com
