  • In today's episode, I am breaking down the responsibility of being a leader. We all take on leadership roles in some capacity, and it is our responsibility to learn and grow in these positions. While I wasn't always confident in my leadership abilities, my experiences as a platoon leader and leading BPN for the past 12 years have provided me with invaluable insights and lessons that have shaped my leadership ethos. Tune in to this episode to hear more about my journey and be encouraged on how you can develop into a leader that people are compelled to follow. Enjoy!

Love it! Not currently in leadership role, professionally at least, always a leader to my kids, but I want to be ready for when my moment arises to lead professionally and these kind if podcast and book recommendations are sharpening my axe. Keep em coming!

3 years for stocks to vest is wild. That means if an employees leaves the company under 3 years they lose all stock. This is a technique companies use to keep employees around.

Not true at all, I've worked at several startups before. And they almost always vest incrementally, with being fully vested after 3-4 amount of years. My stock options vested incrementally on a monthly basis

Well why would you want to give people a part of your business if they are there any less? Your comment makes it clear that you’ve never owned a business.

Just like Jeff Cunningham said you can't call yourself a good driver, others have to call you a good driver - You can't call yourself a leader, other people deem you as a leader if you are leading them.
