  • In this week’s episode, I am proud to announce I am moving back to Austin and stepping into the CEO role again. I’m pulling the curtain back and telling the whole story of what has led us to this decision. 2023 was full of challenges and lessons learned, but I am more energized than ever to have BPN show up as our unapologetic, authentic self in 2024 and beyond. Enjoy!

The biggest red flag that everyone seemed to brush off was Adam Klink leaving and going to a different company. When a man of his integrity walks away….. open your eyes.

Hey Nick, just wanted to say that it’s been a privilege to follow you on this journey. It’s not very often that you get to witness and follow a company be built from the ground up, let alone follow the life of the founder and CEO. Thanks for sharing this with us. It’s great to be able to gain insights from one of my favorite companies. I think you do a great job of building brand loyalty and it’s one of the reasons why I’ll continue to buy your products. We trust you and believe in what you’ve built. Thanks again for everything you do!

Incredible share…as someone who discovered your company, the brand, the product and the BPN community this past year, I want to share that 2023 was not a wash…as much as it may have felt disconnected and nothing for anyone from the inside, it still had great impact on athletes and folks on the outside. I CANNOT WAIT to see what BPN manifests, creates and delivers in the coming years. If the past year is any indicator (and in y’all’s eyes, not the best year)…it is going to be off the rails and we are Here For It All!! LFG!

    You mention the void.
I’ve heard about you trying to fill this void for a few years. Even back to the old pod cast.
As a brother in Christ, I want to encourage you that as you continue to grow in faith that you’ll realize nothing, including BPN or etc..will fill the void. Except for Jesus Christ Who is our Foundation

Zero chance trolls wouldn't attack, but Nick this was brave as hell to share. You gave us all more details than we deserve, and speculation kings will no doubt fade quickly.
Wishing the best for Kat, and congrats to you and your family! I fucking can't wait to see 2024 back in your hands. The slow build to liquidity attempts again or shareholder distributions will be worth it (if that's what you choose), and in the meantime, your confidence will be earned and justified.
Congrats on baby number 2!! Go One More mantra fulfilled again!

    Some one said it right
    He built a specific gang…CULTURE
    OF SPECIFIC PEOPLE for BPN.
First 10 years are the hardest. This is only the beginning.
Yes it’s sad that you won’t be here in Nash anymore..but you planted a BPN here where you and Steph started! Quite the journey.
Plus CEOs who have set the STANDARD will get hate, because when Nick makes mistakes or a company like BPN makes mistakes. It’s blown out of proportion due to the high standard. And humans are attracted to being negative just because.
    Blessings and prayers N&S

I don’t remember where I read someone say it but I read a comment somewhere that they thought Nick was never happy in Tennessee. They were spot on. It seems like Nick’s identity is wrapped up in the company and couldn’t “cope” without being in the leader role of the company. For the record I didn’t notice BPN trying to be anything that it wasn’t before so I don’t get the whole “all things to all people” take

I thought the creative officer role was a great move for us- UA-cam viewers. But I personally don't like BPN products (I've tried quite a few) because I maintain a low-carb diet for medical/digestive reasons. I still love your videos. I guess it all depends on whether social media/UA-cam directly translates to BPN sales, which my guess is no but I'm definitely not an expert.

Nick used to put out a lot of behind the scene type videos about BPN. I think that type of content actually did help with sales. I used to watch most of his videos between 2019 and 2022, but sort lost interest once they stopped doing their behind the scenes type stuff.

Said a whole lotta nothing. I think it’s great that he is trying to be transparent to his audience but going about it in this way where he is sort of vaguely painting a picture and not just saying what happened in a straightforward manner is a bit confusing and convoluted. I’m sure he can’t get into all the details for either legal reasons or protection of the business/people within but in that case just wait to put out a video like this until you can comfortably talk about what happened.

Love your honesty and forthcoming, but one thing I have to disagree with you on ...God does not test. Is there an obstacle, yes there it is, it's how YOU handle it is the test of your own self, not sent by god. It was your self will, which is fine, that got you to that point, not god. God has nothing to do with the hard stuff that you created, it's about your faith to trust in the process and be in grace with it. Man plans, god laughs, as you say. Love your process !
