Ivy the African mom i love your hair!!! i also have a question? if you mind, im 13 yrs old and for my hair im working on growing it mainly what i do to maintain it is, wash shampoo/ condition then deep condition my hair then give my hair a trim if needed then i get knotless boxbraids and oil my scalp with no tension then repeat the same thing but in between i give my hair breaks.I big chopped last year of July 19 2019 and its already a year and my hair is already armpit length. Ivy the African mom do you think that's a good routine to maintain my length and also do you think my hair could grow waist length by this then end of 2021 or 2022? And i don't use any type of gels and just stick to protective styles then when my hair gets longer im gonna start wearing it out and trying new things out. For length, braids are good but since your hair already has length doing twists with your natural hair is very very good as well. When you do the protective styles, try leaving it for about 1 month. And if you can’t do a month, twisting your natural hair every 2 weeks is fine. Your hair seems to grow fast, so I’m sure you can grow it to where you want it soon💕💕
