2007- 2014 FORD 6F50 AWD DIFFERENTIAL FORD EDGE, MKX, ESCAPE COMPARISON, DISCUSSION, AND INSPECTION

I am hoping this video can assist someone. it is a comparison video for the different types of differentials that were made for the Ford vehicles from 2007- to 07-19-2012 and from 07-30-2012.
this video will show the differences between the two differentials and why they can not work as a direct replacement. you may have to do additional modification to get the older style to work and may have to buy or fabricate additional brackets.
I had a loud growl when the vehicle was in motion around 40 mph. the noise never got any louder and was fairly even. I had previously replaced my rear wheel bearings and didn't suspect they were the issue again.
Ultimately, i purchased a set from detroit axle, and they turned out to be junk and failed again. the left rear wheel bearing went out and was
causing the issue.
The bearing for the differential shaft does make noise but can not be heard with the vehicle in motion. As of now the ford runs great and is quiet as can be.
