Did you tried starting it up while depressing any brake lever? As a factory safety feature, my stock EFI GY6 demands that one brake is depressed while cranking the starter. Only in USA scooters are still being shipped with 1950s carburetor fueling technology.
Hi, definitely not a pointless video 👍 Was it a 125 and did you ride it? Was it as fast as a carbed set up? Tasso remap these ECU’s for Scomadi/Royal Alloy & also the AJS Modena. As far as I’m aware the first company to offer such a service so the GY6 remains upgradable without a carb conversion. Bloody coil wire, left me stranded on a Lexmoto Vienna, 4hr wait for AA but a relief when I got it home and found the loose wire. Only other time it left me stranded was a loose wire to the CDI. Such simple fixes and this is what let’s these bikes down. I like em though, so easy to rebuild.
I wonder if there is a conversion kit, made and tuned especially for gy6. There seems to be one on aliexpress, but it appears to be designed for multiple engines, like ecotrons.

There is an aftermarket kit I won’t mess up his UA-cam with names of other channels. But yes definitely and for high performance use. But the one I’m speaking of is expensive the EFI cost more than a stock engine
Dont forget this efi still has cdi unit in the panel just below the ignition.This is an edit its not cdi unit its says its a headlight relay this is no way just a headlight relay its massive looks just like a cdi unit.I think this black box has some other plans is it this that has shut mine down and the reason no one can find the problem. a dealer would know but probably only 3 in uk and the one I got mine from whatever wheels void your warranty sorry for posting all this but its the only thing about this scooter I could find may be it will help some other mug that has one this scooter has is new its already cost me 500 pounds trying to sort it its a little fine for being stupid.if you have one get shut and get a push bike thats what I had to do until I finish paying for it .forget any warranty they just void it neco tells them to you do get a free migraine when you buy one
Well said I can't fi d up wots up with myn paid about 500 in parts all ignition stuff and injector etc and still won't work. Am sick of this shit why not have a basic carb and I can't change it also to a carburettor intake more money 🎉
Hi i have a wangye eivissa 2 125 year 2022. I have a engine management fault and it flashes 8 times and stops then flashes for 8 more times over and over again. I have a GY6-125 ECU Motorcycle Computer Controller For ROJO Motorbike Electronic Control System Accessory You can Google this. The red light on the unit also flashes 8 times. Do you have this unit on your bike and do you know what the fault could be. Cheers
What is the name of this bike? I have one but it came in carb and its a 09. The reason I ask because I need to find replacement parts for it as in body parts. Most scooters do not look like this. I converted mines with a KIT. Carbs are not really great for long drives. I would only use carbs if I was to race these things.

Yea sort of they are a different brand and the plastics are different but the frame and engine are the same apart from the black one ran on a carb and this is obviously EFI

Godzilla R34 it's easy dude take the seat off pull the inlet manifold undo all the wires 1 bolt out the back suspension 1 bolt out the engine mount on top above the carb and undo the back brake cable it's easy dude don't worry I've literally dropped engines before and they were fine they are metal and what not you won't brake it

indias got fuel injection in our scooters from this year, carbs are simpler for scooters though

I’ve been looking for it. Or even a wrecked bike with efi to swap into mine. So far no luck
Rolling wrench has a plug in play for gy6 but it cost us$600@billyclevenger2632
What would you do if you wanted to put a exhaust on it ? How do you up jet it ect ?
Youd tune it through the carb so the injection sprays more

£238 for a fuel pump it's not cheap ECUs £90 up Chinese scooter parts.
No it's not Chinese parts are stupidly cheap especially for my lexmoto titan :)
