Whenever I feel like people must be doubting my work or my skills it's the time to wear a shade of lipstick which is bold and matte to prove my stand.

I think each one of us is unique and different. Therefore dressing styles bound to differ from person to person.
Its everyone's personal choice how they want to present themselves to the world.
I am a medical professional. I wont prefer wearing funky outfit in my hospital/ clinic.
We need to dress wisely.
our dressing play an important role. Based on our dressing style people will create their opinion about us which is based on their value system. We cant challenge their thinking.
I think people related to fashion industry, show business etc can wear such stylish cloth even at work place.
But in a professions like teaching, medical, corporate sectors we need to follow some rules.

But everyone has their own choice.Some people feel more confident in certain types of clothes-be it heels or sneakers. One cannot simply say that everyone feels comfortable in sneakers. You are only comfortable when you are confident and I have seen people being more confident wearing stylish clothes at work instead of comfortable clothes. So it is all a matter of choice and nothing else...

Well one cannot wear yellow heels or inappropriate clothes to an interview. I agree that its a part of policing but it has to be situation appropriate. At least that's what i think.

@@greeshmashetty1625 if I am working in the fashion industry, I would not mind wearing and experimenting with clothes and color but I cant wear at other places. If you can carry them well, you must wear, I am all for choice. Only that I wont wear them for an interview, never.

I totally understand what she's talking about....Am a university student and I wear heels for attending class,good perfumes,classy outfits with pretty eye makeup and lip color but my class fellows especially boys always try to make fun of me being like this and even the new batch people look at each other and once laughed when I wore those black heels but am not afraid of them or bullied that easily......when that guy made fun of my heels I coldheartedly responded him "ye pendu logon k bas ki bat nai ha"
And among those bullies from new batch when I saw them smiling at each other when I entered the room I actually gave that boy a stone rigid serious look and looked directly at him with my mean face......

As expected blush has great content but what stupidity is this. This "wear whatever you want to wear" is now going over the top. Its normal and logical that each professions has its own sense of dressing style even if it is not explicitly related to the work. Otherwise a businessman doesnt need to wear formals since a person can look intimidating and good even in normal clothing depending upon what suits him/her.
